Had not been to a Taco John’s in a very long time. This was a favorite lunch spot when I was in high school (we had an open campus). The food has not changed from what I remember. They have the best cheese sauce of any fast food Mexican place. I had the potatoes oles – they come smothered with taco ingredients and a ton of cheese sauce. I tell you – as good as I remember. I also had a burrito. If you have not you really should give it a try. My wife and I went for an early lunch and it was not too crowded. I did notice they seemed to do a lot of drive thru business. Really – it you got a hankering for affordable Mexican – give them a go.

I live near this location, so I have visited at least once or twice a month for the past couple of years.
The employees are friendly, and they always complete our large late night orders quickly and correctly. The store has always been clean anytime I have went inside, and I don’t remember ever having an issue with food quality.

Tacos John’s, Was ok, To me the tacos reminded me of Jack in the Box tacos not deep fried. But it was good, Boss Burrito was fine, wasn’t really tasty missing some flavor. The potatoes Ole were pretty good especially with the seasoning they added.. But, I would go back for more tacos.

I don’t know how this place always manages to mess up the most simple orders. Ordered a cheese quesadilla combo and they forgot the drink and only put cheese in HALF THE QUESADILLA. How?? Employees also act like it’s such a burden to give you the things you pay for too. I always come back because I genuinely like the food but I give up.

Ordered a chicken taco salad with house dressing. Got home there was no chicken on it and no dressing how did they mess up a salad? And when I called they wanted me to drive all the way back there like I was lying and they needed proof!? here’s your proof… 8 bucks for a bowl of lettuce.. Went back Today Because my son wanted to go I don’t know why. Got a saggy taco salad when I told them about it they said they would replace it went back they accused me of eating it or doing something to it and gave me a couple salad with Barely anything in it.Order 2Burritos without super hot sauce for my six-year-oldThat of course had super hot sauce on it. They were very rude and disrespectful. I’m so upset at this point I would like to fight all of the managers. This is an invitation.

We’ve been coming here off and on for a while now and things have been great. Yesterday, Thursday was terrible. We ordered the 6 tacos and a pound of potato olays…the potatoes were almost cold, and the cheese we ordered was only half full! Our soft shell tacos weren’t wrapped correctly, with half a taco shell itself hanging out on 3 out of 6 of them. THREE TACOS HAD ZERO MEAT, but a ton of lettuce. What happened?! We always order and take it home, we weren’t going to drive back just to complain and have them deny or shrug shoulders at us. I’m angry about wasted money and ruined dinner.

Pretty disappointed. There were either 1 or 2 employees working, we had to wait forever for our food. It was pretty busy. Hats off to the only employee we saw working. He was running the drive thru, cooking and running orders out to all of the waiting cars. He was very nice and professional. The food was mediocre as usual. My favorite, the potato oles, were served fresh and hot! The side of nacho cheese for the oles, I’m not really sure what it was. It was a runny liquid. It was disgusting. I only dipped my potato ole into it and it looked nauseating. Taco John’s.. fix your cheese dip! I feel jipped out of my potato ole experience! Giving 2 stars for the employee that was working basically by himself.
