Tacos and potatoes are very good. Sweet tea is so so. 1 star off for my tacos being upside down in the bag and one of them dumping out. Very young staff. Drive thru wait was acceptable.

Taco John’s of Somerset, KY is awesome. I love tacos and this place has done it for fast food tacos. I went through the drive-thru and was greeted by a friendly employee on the inside. I placed my order and it was 100% correct. I love their tacos and their potatoes with the cheese is great! I will be back soon!!

So this was our first Taco Johns experience. We ordered a number 7, trio of chicken tacos which were exceptional and olay potatoes with nacho cheese was amazing. The regular tacos are greasy like Jacks and taco bell Quality. We also tried the queso boss burrito, order it with light sour cream. Rice was good, meat is good. We couldn’t taste the cheese too much sour cream. Friendly staff. Good value for the price. We will be back for street tacos and potatoes.

I’ve had some bad experiences in my life but this was definitely fighting a heavy weight bout for first place. My order was so completely incorrect they didn’t just replace it but also refunded the order. Still the food I received was cold somehow. My order was not replaced quickly either. I sat there and waited over 10 minutes for the replacement items while everyone else received theirs. Figured it might be warm because it would be fresh. Wrong again. I would not eat here again if it was free and I know this for a fact because even though it was free this time it wasn’t worth the gas I wasted to drive to the restaurant. They screwed up the replacement order as well. Didn’t even get everything I ordered. An I’m sorry would have been nice also. Will not revisit this establishment sadly.

First ever visit, ordered taco and potatoe pack. Potatoes were great and tacos were decent however this place just opened and they were out of mild sauce and only had hot. Kind of ruined the taco experience for me seeing as we spent $20 to eat and no sauce and no apologies or even telling us before we ordered. So first ever impression of taco John’s was bad customer service and poor inventory management since they knew would be swamped the first few weeks and should have stocked up. Other than that the food was good and I enjoyed something different from taco Bell.

Fresh, hot, and delicious the first time I went. I was so excited to find a really good street taco. Second time we got the food to go… it’s way better fresh. Tonight we ate in. The potato ole was way too salty to eat. The street tacos were cold. The re-fried beans were cold. The staff were very harried and stressed out (maybe short staffed). Two had excellent customer service skills but the other two young ladies both had pinched faces. I learned a long time ago, it doesn’t really matter what you say, it’s your delivery. We can say no with a genuine smile. Anyone in customer service is not allowed to have a bad day. It’s half of their job. A lot of the fault lies with the employer. Staff your store, pay the employees more. Treat them with respect and you’ll reap dividends. Capitalism without morals is a sin. Sorry to say I won’t be back. Peace out…

My husband and I just moved to the area and decided to try taco Johns. It was delicious, unfortunately something was made incorrect so my husband and I came back. They were immediately so helpful and remade our items. Best experience I’ve had at a fast food place. 100% will eat there again.
