We visited in dire need of some comfort food or the non-burger/steak/mashed potatoes/bowl of pho/tteokboki variety. Myriad choices exist in the vicinity, but this one stood out to us as it has been around over 40 years.
Our choice did not disappoint at all. The location exudes years of love as does the pride in the business of those who have kept it running. We kept things simple with a couple of burritos, and chicken fajitas. Everything came quick, seasoned perfectly and was delicious. Only managed a photo of half a burrito and nachos–sorry for leaving visual folks looking for more… trust.
This place has the three “S”s down…simplicity, service and sabor.
*Cherry on top–many places will provide chips and salsa, this location provided nachos , also great salsas (red and green) along with the meal, not in small ramekins, but containers more often seen used for syrup (this was amazing for me tbh as I love condiments and tidiness)

Stayed at the hotel nextdoor and figured we’d give it a try. The friendly staff patiently waited for me to make a decision. There menu is extensive but I decided on the tacos, al pastor, 4 of them because I was hungry and didn’t want to go back out again later. The staff thanked us for coming in and we left. Got back to the hotel and realized there is still an honest restaurant still open. I’ve been on the road for about a week heading southeast and couldn’t wait for some authentic Mexican food. First off the Togo bag included napkins, a fork, salt, three limes, four salsas, bean and cheese covered tortilla chips and four huge tacos! I tried it all and could only fit two tacos inside this 6′ 200lbs frame. That are huge! (And only $2.95) I left the hotel, went right back over there and tipped them ~45% to make it right. Thank you for the amazing taste and your honest pricing, friendly service and quick service will be on repeat every time I drive through. Thank you!

We came here because we were staying at the hotel across the parking lot. It was definitely convenient. But we came her over the place across the street because it seemed more like a taco shop. My favorite part of mexican food is the beans, and the meat for tacos. The beans were awesome. Good consistency, not thick and pasty like so many places. My asada taco was loaded, and I loved that it was FULL. Good flavor on the steak and chopped nice and small. I also got a tostada salad with grilled chicken. The chicken was good flavor, chopped nice and small, and a lot of it. The salsa was too hot for my weenie mouth but the chips were great. I ordered my food to go, and they gave me a container of bean and cheese nachos! Loved em. If I lived out here, id go again.

The food is great. They are truly a family business. The lady that runs this place is awesome. She is so sweet in many ways. They are also a combined bus station serving Tufesa Bus passengers. This is a good break stop for travelers of all kinds. They keep this place clean. It’s obviously a former diner so it has that retro feeling. I always get a Carne Asada burrito there and they put plenty of meat along with the other ingredients.
They are not open late for the late and overnight arrivals, but it is very understandable given it’s family run.

This place is amazing! Must try if you are driving by. I grew up in California and currently live in Arizona. Im a gringo so always order the same thing which is carne asada fries and a California burrito. Not sure what and how this restaurant prepares their sada fries and burritos but this is a different level. Delicious! Truly family owned place that cares about customers and quality of food. Wish I could give 10

We stayed at the hotel next store and was told the food was good. Well they were right! The service was excellent, too. 2 green and 2 red salsas that brought back memories of my grandmother’s kitchen. They started us off with chips, frijoles an white cheese. Sorry forgot the pic. This was before our food came. The food was so good we took a burrito home. My wife had Carne Asada Nachos, and I had the huevos rancheros with flour tortillas. Our hats off to the cook who made it taste amazing!
