We stopped in for Taco Tuesday and were grateful for the reduced pricing because, unfortunately, the food didn’t meet our expectations. I ordered the taco special (three tacos for around $6–$7), and while the price was great, the quality missed the mark. My chicken taco was served cold, the tortillas felt barely warmed, and overall the flavors were pretty bland. The cheese was cut too thick and didn’t blend well with the tacos.
The beef taco was decent but not very distinctive, and the pork taco lacked seasoning altogether. My boyfriend ordered the birria tacos, which were extremely salty and drenched in sauce without much depth of flavor. The tortillas also seemed undercooked, and the cilantro/onion topping was extremely minimal, just a tiny amount that didn’t add much to the bite.
The restaurant itself is cute, and our server was polite, but the indoor area had an odor that made us choose to sit outside. Even the corn side tasted more like canned corn quickly heated rather than freshly prepared.
Overall, we were glad we visited on a discounted day because we would have been disappointed paying full price. It wasn’t the experience we hoped for, and unfortunately, we likely wouldn’t return

We’ve been several times now to Taco Haven and always enjoy our food. It’s tucked away in Pembroke Lakes, just minutes from us so that makes it very convenient. Santiago is often there on weekends and is always very friendly. Here’s a pic of the shrimp tacos I had.

I usually don’t write reviews but if this place was that good I knew I was going to write one, especially with all the taco places near by. I got nachos which were so flavorful and the chips were thick so they didn’t get soggy still arnt after 30 minutes. The birria tacos that my daughter said were amazing and very juicy and I got carne asada. The tacos are stuffed!!!!! Definitely worth it and will absolutely survive a ride home also. Hope this helps anyone. This is our left over because once I tasted the nachos I completely forgot to take pictures lol.

Honestly disappointed isn’t even the word.. im not sure what happen to this place because It use to be good but NOW ? absolutely not. I ordered the chicken enchiladas that comes with a side of rice and pinto beans … after waiting nearly an hour for my order i received 1 enchilada with rice and beans INSIDE of It…. When Its supposed to come with 3 enchiladas with a SIDE of rice and beans. After telling her that’s not what I ordered she insisted that It was and that It comes that way when in fact It does not. And told me the only thing she could do was give me the side of rice and beans … um no .. I showed her what I ordered after going back a second time she brings out the same thing this time without the rice inside. Once again not correct she goes back and brings someone else out I explain everything all over again they go to look at the menu to look at what I ordered go back to the kitchen to bring out 2 more enchiladas because It comes with 3 not 1 after the 3rd time I was truly over It but let me show you all what the food usually looks like (just like the Menu) VS what I got this time. I would absolutely love to get my money back but unfortunately there was no manager there or anybody else I could possibly speak to. I can promise you I will not be ordering from here again.

I went here for taco Tuesday and Diego served us an OMG this is the most food I’ve seen in a taco ever!!! the tacos are absolutely delicious. They’re jampacked with meat. The prices are amazing. There was like two other customers in store while I was there, but in reality, their line should be wrapped around the corner every single day if not at least every Tuesday this is such a hidden gem highly highly highly recommend 10 out of 10.

Diego at Taco Haven is truly the best! From the moment we walked in, he was welcoming, attentive, and made the whole experience feel special. He took the time to explain the menu, gave great recommendations, and made sure everything came out perfectly.
