I went here with my friend and we ordered a margarita pitcher, tacos and fajitas. The margarita was average. The food was great I loved having the option of filet versus the usual tough steak meat that is served with the fajitas. This was a great change. Although the portion was smaller the meat was more tender and I prefer that. My friend enjoyed her tacos. I will definitely return and order the same thing when I’m in the area. I will also recommend this place to my friends and family.

Excellent all day happy hour on the patio, accompanied by corn hole. They rebuilt the bar outside & it looks awesome. We had a such an enjoyable Friday night here. The inside bar & ambiance is beautiful! Food was good. Happy hour nachos & chicken wings were the best thing on the HH menu- so tasty! Wings were cooked perfectly. Excellent spot for anyone wanting to enjoy the weather on the riverfront in Wilmington, Delaware. Would come again!

My family and I ate at this establishment on 1/17/26 – the service, food and manager were very nice. Our server was Myles T, he was extremely attentive and polite. I would highly recommend the churros and chipotle shrimp quesadillas. My sister loved the pineapple margarita and chipotle chicken quesadilla.

Tried happy hour at Taco grande. The staff was friendly. I remember Tatiana helped us she was really patient as we were indecisive about what to eat and drink but she did her recommendations and was awesome. Keith also was great he made our drinks I will recommend and definitely will be back

What an experience!
First of all, this place is simply amazing. Visually stunning and it only gets better from there. Food was absolutely some of the best I’ve, not only had in Delaware, but literally — IN GENERAL! They have this chicken tortilla soup that could make you weep! Drinks were tasty and…THE SERVICE!!!! A+++ doesn’t do it any justice. Our server was an extremely talented and polite gentleman by the name of Miles. From the second we sat down Miles ensured that every need we could have was met — and better yet, it’s like he had a 6th sense, being able to tell what we needed before we asked for it.
I cannot give a more glowing review of this restaurant.
It’s a MUST VISIT…scratch that, a MUST FREQUENT spot in Delaware.

I had the pleasure of being served by Breon during my recent visit to Taco Grande and I have to say, his service was absolutely outstanding! From the moment we walked in, he greeted us with a warm, welcoming smile and made sure we felt right at home. He was attentive, friendly, and made some great recommendations from the menu.
Breon’s energy was contagious, and he was quick to check on us throughout our meal without being intrusive. He made sure our drinks were always full, and his positive attitude really added to the overall dining experience. It’s clear he takes pride in his work and genuinely cares about providing top-notch service.
The food at Taco Grande is always delicious, but Breon’s excellent service took the experience to a whole new level. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I hope to be served by Breon again! Highly recommend!

Arguably the best meal I had on my trip. I came into Philadelphia for a NHL game but ventured over to Wilmington, Delaware because I didn’t see any Mexican restaurants options that looked like what I was looking for.
Introducing Sunny, the best waiter hands down. He was prepared with recommendations for us when asked, “If you could only eat here once, what would you order?” He recommended the fajitas for two and I think they were the best fajitas I have ever had. It came with steak, shrimp, and chicken. All fabulously seasoned and so tender! You could get tortillas or lettuce cups to make your tacos. These tortillas were warm and fluffy. He also recommended the queso with chorizo and it was also a hit. I will include photos as well. Not only was Sunny knowledgeable about the menu, but we bonded over Auburn football of all things. Who would have thought there were be someone who knew about Auburn all the way in Delaware.
So, if you are looking for great food at a very reasonable price, with excellent service, this is the place to go. Ask for Sunny! Oh it’s also located on the riverwalk so you can go for a stroll and walk off all the food you just ate.
