I had an incredible experience at Taco Giro! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, but the food was the real star—absolutely delicious and packed with authentic flavor. Everything we ordered was fresh and served hot.
What truly made the night special, though, was the service. Adriana was phenomenal! She was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Her excellence in hospitality is hard to find these days, and she really elevated our entire meal.
If you’re looking for great Mexican food and a staff that actually cares, this is the spot. I’ll definitely be back soon!

Very nice well established restaurant in Vail, AZ with good service and comfort.
The food was prepared well and the portion sizes were quite large, typical for Mexican restaurants.
The Bean Chimichanga and Fish Tacos tasted very good, as well as the beans on the side. Personally I thought the beans were a bit runny and would have preferred more substance.
The Shrimp and Chicken Fajita was surprisingly fusion like as it was heavy in a Teriyaki flavor. It was quite tasty albeit unexpected.
I’d recommend the restaurant for a nice dinner at reasonable prices.

Love that they serve hard shell chicken tacos. Their Monday margarita special is a great value. Good is regularly quite good here but the service is hit or miss. Never bad but either good or meh. Usually quick and didn’t have to wait for a table. A nice option out in Vail.

Atmosphere: bad – It’s a very small restaurant and we were seated at a table about 2 feet from an open kitchen (no door, gross view of brooms) and the bathrooms. The kitchen was playing very loud music and there was different music playing in the restaurant and it was so unpleasant to listen to both. When asked twice, one of the waitresses kindly turned off the kitchen music but that was temporary so for most of our meal we were tortured with 2 musics, one really loud, and accompanied by loud kitchen staff. Food: Meh – a very small saucer of chips which were never replenished, 2 different salsas were good but no chips so kind of sad and a waste. I ordered a vegetable fajita which was ok, nothing great, just basically no meat as it consisted of just onions, peppers and tomatoes, along with beans and rice and guacamole. Huge portion of veggies but only 2 tortillas. Overall taste was good, but it all seemed kind of skung together. My husband ordered the steak and green chile burrito which he said was very good. Service – waitresses seemed to be overwhelmed and busy on a Tuesday at 5:30 pm. We were served quickly. Nice but hurried. The blaring 2 sets of music really made it impossible to enjoy the meal and I’ll never go back here even thought it’s very close to my home.

I was very careful on my review because food was great, atmosphere was great. And service was not only exceptional l, but this is my 3rd visit to a Taco giro location. And your waitress Perla had a entire restaurant full, mind you alone. And not only was the best service with a completely full house she had a smile on her face, spoke positively to co-workers who made mistakes, but kept everything under control.
I leave a lot of reviews, usually on how good the food was but your employee Perla needs a promotion or a raise.
Absolutely phenomenal worker. Was stressed at first seeing she was alone on shift but was quickly corrected on her etiquette!

It was our first time here but we would have wished to have known of this amazing restaurant sooner! The staff were amazing, the food reminded me as if I was back in Mexico eating my families homemade food. My husband loved his Taco Bowl! I also really enjoyed my meal. It was plentiful for two people for both dishes. Again the food was great! It has definitely become a staple to our restaurant list.
