I ordered two tacos of shrimp whiteout onion, what I received 3 shrimp on each taco and a lot of onion for $3.99 each? Seriously?! I can go to but a onion and a package of shrimp to get more full with it. Also, their combo like you can not put an extra piece of fajita cause you would feel this is too much. I feel pretty expensive…the service feel offended cause I don’t give them 15% tips. They should be thankful I gave tips at least but for that price , service and food I don’t feel worth it. Never come back again.

Taco Fuego in the Galleria area is everything! The food is absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and full of that real Latina kitchen goodness. Every bite tastes like it was made with love.

The customer service is amazing too. The staff is friendly, upbeat, and makes you feel welcome as soon as you walk in. The atmosphere is clean, inviting, and comfortable, and the service is super fast without ever feeling rushed.

I’m really impressed with this spot, and I will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend Taco Fuego if you want great food, great vibes, and great service!

Horrible customer service. The cashier was rude and argumentative from the start. My wife and I ordered the same item, but he only gave her one order and insisted that he gave us both. Instead of fixing the mistake, he accused us of trying to get free food and made the situation uncomfortable and unnecessary. We had to argue just to get the order we paid for. I’ve never been treated like this at a restaurant before. Definitely won’t be coming back.

We absolutely loved this taco truck. This is our go to taco truck now. If you’re in the Katy/Houston area go visit one of their 4 locations.

We stopped by Taco Fuego on Val Verde and were excited to try it — and overall, the food hit the spot.

We got their empanada, which was crispy and packed with flavor. The flauta was just as good — crunchy on the outside and savory on the inside. We also ordered two quesadillas, one steak and one chicken. Unfortunately, they gave us two chicken by mistake, and we didn’t realize until we were already out of Houston. That was a bit of a letdown since we were really looking forward to trying both.

But even with the mix-up, everything we ate was tasty. The sauces were great, the flavors were bold, and most importantly — everything was halal, which is a big plus. Definitely worth checking out if you’re craving Mexican food with a halal twist. Just double-check your order before you leave!

Extremely greasy tacos. Just touching the tortilla left my fingers shiny with oil, and every bite felt heavy and oily. Very little chicken inside. The staff was nice, but unfortunately the food quality was very disappointing.

Food tasted ok but it was not worth the money and the quality has dipped severely over the years. The first was from a year and a half ago and the second was from today and the price is the same. . .

Very glad I stopped in! I’ve tried Birria tacos at a few places around Houston and I’ve never really been mind blown like everyone else. However, after trying them here at Taco Fuego, I get it! Deep, complex flavored consome and tender, flavorful meat! I also got a fajita quesadilla, and I probably wouldn’t get that again, but I will be back for the birria tacos A couple times a week!

Love Love Love Taco Fuego!!

I visit their food truck often with my husband and we’re addicted. Each and every time without fail their tacos are always fresh, piping hot and bursting with flavor. I’ve tried other halal taco food trucks but this one is miles ahead of the competition. Tiny details matter, I love the way they slice the jalapeño, it’s fresh crunchy and blends perfectly with all the other textures. None of that tinned crap or massive round chunks.

Customer service is awesome! Staff are very friendly and you never have to wait too long.

My favs:

1. Texan Taco
2. Birria Taco
3. Baja Shrimp Taco
4. Consume is fire

The pics I’ve attached is from their Instagram page because my camera isn’t great, we end up polishing off the tacos in our car and the pics I have don’t do justice to their food.

Their tacos are beyond awesome! One of my favorite places in Houston, TX hands down.

Keep up the good work. I hope you open one in Sugar Land as well.

I normally Never care to leave a review but this place was so good, i started off by ordering 5 birria tacos to see and went back and ordered 10 more after. The tacos were stuffed with meat, the cheese was very flavorful and not too heavy, and the tortillas tasted so crispy and fresh. They served our food very quickly in a matter of minutes, and the quality was all top notch. The street corn was very good, it had a nice lime flavor to it. I would Come back here every day for every meal if i could. The consume was also so good i ended up drinking what I had left of it from the tacos. I am going back tomorrow, i wish they had a location in Chicago! The best part was they are halal too!!! (Everything on the menu is halal) parking is a bit tight so you might have to street park but it’s worth it
