We were greeted by friendly staff letting us know we could sit anywhere. The inside parts were decorated with bright colors. We were informed by our staff of today’s special. She quickly brought out our drink order along with chips and salsa, which was very tasty with a little kick. The kid’s plate was plentiful and good for our granddaughter. Our daughter ordered the enchiladas suiza which she stated were very good. My husband chose the special which he really enjoyed. I chose a bowl of menudo, which was good but not the best I have had in RGV. We will be back to try something else on the menu!

We couldn’t find a restaurant, so my daughter kindly suggested Taco Fiesta in my moment of fury. See my grandparents used to frequently eat here, and the workers knew their orders by heart. We met my parents there. The busboy even gave our table an extra wipe before we sat down. We were greeted with salsa and chips, and they kept the chips coming. The waitress was very attentive to us. We ordered, you could tell the food was prepared with love, but it came quickly. We enjoyed the variety of food from quesadillas to panchos. All the meals were accompanied with beans and delicious rice. It was raved about by OLD and young. Just when we thought the night couldn’t get any better, a mariachi man with a guitar serenaded us with song. He was only there for a few songs, but the memories were deeply imprinted on our souls. We left with a gracious amount of boxes and bags to take our food home, because of the deliciously large portions. The leftovers were just as scrumptious! We now understand why it is called Taco Fiesta because even the leftovers were like a party for our taste buds.

An old friend recommended this as his family’s go to spot. Upon first visit the menu was very limited and the enchilada plate was just ok.
Came in again after viewing their “new” online menu and found out none of those lovely options are available.
Thus no reason to return. Bummer

Had dinner for the first time on a Wednesday. While not crowded, the service was excellent! Ordered chicken flautas, which were served in short order and they were freshly made. I also noticed it was nice and quiet, which is not typical in most restaurants.

Super delicious and super service. The portions and value are really good here. Place was clean and well lighted. Waitress was very good at checking back and doing refills. Very impressed with this place and will be back for more.

It’s been some time since I’ve been here… but someone at my table ordered a Chicken Quesadilla and they forgot to add the chicken. I didn’t make a fuss about it cuz she didn’t want any negative or make a scene so I just swallowed it and said fine but they’re gonna hear it on Google Maps.

Service can be improved, once the server brought us the food, we never saw her again until we flagged her down to ask for refill on drinks and containers to go. My wife ordered the BLT and it came with ham instead of bacon, it also had pickles, pickled onions, strange ingredients for a BLT. It took her like 4 trips to bring the order for 4 guests.

This place has very affordable prices for their breakfast options, the breakfast was okay unfortunately everything was cold.
The huevos rancheros for $4.99 you get 2 eggs, potatoes, refried beans and bacon.
The eggs were perfectly cooked over medium, the salsa for the eggs was good, the refried beans are okay nothing special, the potatoes were soggy and tasteless and the bacon was not crunchy but very tasty.
The cashier’s are very unfriendly.
Overall the price for the breakfast was great but the food in general was cold.

I went to Taco Fiesta for breakfast because I heard they have great prices and the food is good. Once seated I was given a menu but I already was in the mood for an omelette. I ordered iced tea instead of coffee for breakfast. The server brought me chips and salsa, and a jumbo sized tea. I asked him about the omelettes, he gave me the run down on all the meat options, but I was not feeling them. I ended up ordering a cheese Omelette A La Mexicana, with Chorizo beans on the side, and corn tortillas. Note: Any Tex-Mex Dish or Taco you order “A La Mexicana” means it comes with diced Tomatoes, Onions, and Jalapenos mixed in. Anyways, the Omelette was good and the refried beans were cooked on point, I like that the beans tasted fried up, and had a thicker consistency. I don’t like creamy refried beans, runny beans are often not refried in fat but rather reheated in their liquid then mashed. When it came time to pay, I could not believe my ears, only 8 dollars!! Anywhere else it would have been twice that amount.
