Needed some food quickly and saw this place has a drive through. Service was fast, friendly and very very good! Would definitely come back if in the area. Food was slightly pricey but so is everything these days. Would recommend to theirs needing something super fast and also yummy!

When I saw this business opened by my location I wasn’t sure how the food would look an taste but recently decided to give it try and ordered a meal plate. The worker name Lillian greeted me with a smile and answer my question on certain items. Told me the days special as well. Once ordering my order was offered “Free” chips( most places charge for that) an the salsa’s there were to my liking. Place looked clean inside too. Took my meal combo home, the plate combo presentation was nicely done, plenty of beans/ rice ( unlike most places I’ve ordered) with a combo meal, was very tasty too. So overall this place was worth trying out and gave it a chance. Plus actually went again an will continue too. Give this place a try if craving Mexican food an it’s open with a 24hr drive thru. Can’t wait to read your first or many experiences going to this fast food place.

I went for $1.50 Taco Tuesday. Crispy beef or chicken tacos. Amazing and u get chips and salsa bar. Very good salsa. Made me happy, I absolutely luv Taco Tuesday n I’m on a budget, so I could eat without the financial guilt for once

First time at this location on Watt Ave. I am never disappointed by Taco Exxpress. Consistently great food and service. The lobby and eating area is very clean.
Each location’s salsa is a little different. The medium salsa here is fairly hot and delicious. Really great chicken enchiladas.

I went to go buy the special crunchy tacos on a Tuesday at 2:25am. Mind you at the power inn location they validate the deals at 12am. Well they didn’t want to validate my $1.50 taco deal. This sucks. It was the only location 24hrs and the service was terrible. The prices have gone up so much over the last 2 years. I do not recommend!!! Go to taco fresco instead and they’re much nicer!!!

Taco Express – A Solid New Spot in Sacramento
Taco Express just popped up about a mile from my house, so we decided to give it a go tonight. It’s freezing out in Sacramento, so we went for the birria ramen, quesabirria, and the ground beef super burrito.
First off, the lady who took our order was super friendly and efficient — she knew her stuff! Our food came out fairly quickly, but not so fast that we thought it was reheated or frozen, so that was a good sign.
The flavors were on point. The quesabirria was fantastic, and the birria ramen was loaded with meat — no skimping here. As for the super burrito, it was a flavor bomb. My only issue? The burrito had way too much onion in it. It was overpowering to the point where I had to keep spitting them out with each bite. Otherwise, everything was delicious.
We got there around 6 PM on a Monday, and the place was spotless. Every table was cleared, and the counter was clean with no clutter. Always a good sign!
Overall, I’m definitely coming back. I’m especially excited to try their $8.99 breakfast burrito next time. Can’t wait!

I’m loving on the chicken right now. The rice is regular, but the salsa is GREAT. I’m looking forward to trying more on the menu.

This has become my every Tuesday taco experience. I have tried more on the menu. The Ramen is delish. The Birria is delicious. Breakfast burrito is bomb. They are competing with major restaurants.

I usually go thru drive thru and get a value meal and it’s pretty good. I get the two crispy tacos and a small drink or 3 rolled tacos and small drink. Food tastes great.
