Taco Express—Burritos Colder Than A Polar Bear’s Toenails!
This evening I ordered two burritos from Taco Express via Uber Eats, and they arrived shockingly, aggressively cold.
I’m roughly a five-minute walk from this place, and the order showed up within 30 minutes—which should have been plenty of time to maintain even a shred of warmth. Nope.
This kind of cold suggests the kitchen either wrapped them and left them sitting in the New York elements, or simply doesn’t care what temperature food leaves at. Either scenario is unacceptable.
To make matters worse, I contacted Uber Eats hoping for some basic acknowledgment of the problem. Instead, I got the usual corporate runaround—no resolution, no customer service, just automated responses designed to make you give up and go away.
So I closed my account.
Uber Eats proved once again that they’re in the delivery business, not the customer service business.
No more Taco Express for me. And honestly? No more Uber Eats either.

Service was great. Greeted as I entered. Food good, nice selections. I had the Burrito bowl. It was packed with food. Unfortunately the container lid wasn’t high enough to accommodate the toppings which all ended up sticking to the lid.

I had an excellent experience at Taco Express Mexican Grill and was impressed with everything they offer. The shrimp tacos were absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. I also really loved the huge bowls they serve, which are very generous in size and packed with great ingredients. The guacamole and chips were fresh and tasty, making a perfect addition to the meal. On top of that, the prices are fantastic, especially considering the quality and portion sizes. Taco Express Mexican Grill delivers great food at great prices, and I will definitely be coming back again.

Halal version of CHIPOTLE. They have tacos, burritos, bowls, salads, nachos etc. prices are the same as chipotle. I paid $28 for a chicken bowl, 2 tacos & 2 Jarritos. Place is open from 10 am to 2am every day which is great. Good halal option in the Bronx.

Taco express was a very pleasant experience. The brothers in the front are very friendly, and it was a pleasure to meet them. The food (quality and quality) were equally as good. One of the brothers recommended I try to loaded fries, and he was absolutely right. I will definitely be going back, InshaAllah

I ordered the kids size version and the food was very filling. Hard shell taco is my choice with ground beef with spicy salsa, yellow and white cheese, lettuce and red onions.
With sour cream and spicy queso on the side.
The kids size Quesadilla is four pieces my choice is sweet and spicy shrimp with cheese.
The place is Muslims Owned and there know Mexican food is very delicious and filling.
