I was looking for good tacos in the area. And somehow I keep finding the best 100 restaurants on LI.
This place was so good. We ordered chips and salsa, guac and I ordered chicken tacos.
Everything was so fresh and flavorful.
There was plenty of seating and the staff was friendly and nice. I’ll definitely stop back here again.
There were no tables available but just 3 outside under the tent. The workers added a couple of extra tables for us under the tent .
We ordered assorted tacos etc. And everything was great. The food presentation was nice and tasted great. A little side container of guac and salsa and fresh chips came with the order. The portion sizes were good as well.
The 5 of us in our party all agreed that this restaurant was a good pick and is a keeper.
The place might be a little on the small side but don’t let that fool you, this place is packed with plenty of flavor. The interior is trendy and clean, a couple of places to sit if you feel inclined to stay awhile, but you can take out just as easily too.
I wish I could give more than 5 stars for service, the woman behind the counter was sweet as could be and had no problem serving us even though we came in so late. Food also came out quick.
Food was excellent and dare I say some of the best tacos I’ve ever had! We had the chips and guac to start and everything was as fresh as could be. The tacos we got were the carnitas, the chicken, beef rib, the Al pastor, and the carne asada. It’s hard to pick just one favorite, but if you’re only having one taco (like some sort of crazy person) my pick is on the carnitas. Perfectly juicy and flavorful. And let me tell you, they don’t shy away from stuffing these tacos full, you get every last penny worth. Honorable mention to the chicken, a lot of places just phone their chicken in, but their chicken is actually good and flavorful! They have such a vast menu of a dozen other options at least that I want to try that will keep me coming back for more.
Parking can be a little tight in the shared lot when it’s busy, but there is also some side street parking available too if you don’t mind a little extra walk.
Reasonably priced, but what separates them from the rest is how everything is homemade. You can really taste the difference in the tortillas, meat and sauce.
An absolute must, will be a recurring spot for me!
