I just moved to the area and i’m originally from New Mexico, so when I saw a line around the corner at their drive up the other day, I had to go in and try a few things today! Very unpretentious casual setting but the food is recently prized and extremely tasty! I love that they have fry bread! And something new to me was their cheese crisp, but that was also very good and of course, being named Taco Don’s, I had to try the taco, which was excellent. Good tasy HOT sauce too. I think my favorite part was the enchilada sauce on the cheese and onion enchilada, which tasted a lot like sauces I’ve eaten in NM, and that’s NEVER a bad thing!

Must read guys!!! Best mexican food in town!

HERE IT IS PRESCOTT PEOPLE!!!! HERES THE SCOOP!!!
This place rocks! Incredible tasting authentic mexican food. Their house made salsas are the bomb, they have a red hot a red mild and they’re addicting green made in house salsa! am addicted to their Incredible small- which is actually very large grande nachos, potato tacos, incredible tostadas and amazing whole beans! The fry bread is wonderful as well. They are very reasonable in price and great portions! Everyone here is nice and defently show great customer service skills. The owner Francisco is a wonderful person. Him and his team always make yummy stuff for me as well that isnt on their menu due to my dietary needs. They have inside and outside seating. They have been in Prescott for many years. Come in spread the word and support local businesses that truly deserve your hard earned money! You wont be disappointed. Either dine in or take it home togo style. See yah there! And PLEASE dont forget to leave a review with pics of ur yummy experience

We have been going to Taco Dons once a week for a few years. The last 2 times have been not good. Ordered a carne asada burrito with guacamole only, no pico. Both times had pico and no guacamole. Today the meat tasted and looked like mush. Not edible. We get it to go so don’t notice until we get home. Will not be going back for awhile. Filibertos is right across the street.

We ordered at the drive-up window and then pulled around back to wait for our food. There was a dirty rag basket overflowing with kitchen rags, etc. and a big smelly dumpster. I lost my appetite by the time my crispy (soggy) chicken taco arrived. We also ordered a chicken enchilada and a taco salad. We got no eating utensils or napkins. I don’t think I’ll be back, at least not at the drive thru!

Taco Dons is a Prescott favorite. I have eaten there for many years. This is one of those restaurants that the breakfast menu is as good as the lunch or dinner. All menu items are fantastic! I am a huge breakfast burrito fan myself. The salsa is fresh and made daily. The service is super fast and the only thing that I would change is the parking. They have outgrown their location. That being said, do not let that stop you from eating here. If you go during the lunch rush, plan accordingly. It is well worth a little parking hassle.I recommend this place to anyone!

I had the shredded beef burrito and the fried taco with shredded beef. It was good but dry. The portion are good size for the price. There are other Mexican restaurants locally that better tasting.

Love this place so much! Always a tradition to visit when we’re in town. Amazing food & good turnaround time. Sometimes they’re closed on a random day when Google says they’re open (like my last trip there), but fortunately, I was able to go back the next day. My favorite is the ground beef wild burrito enchilada style, and my husband & kids love the breakfast burritos. I support that they’re closed on Sundays to be with their families. We love Taco Don’s!

Nothing like spending $20 bucks for some fries and carne burrito.

The grease hasn’t been changed in years it tastes like. Absolutely horrid I’m sorry.
Burrito was cold. And 1 small scoop on the end of the burro of pico. Meat Dry as the desert and zero seasoning. Zero. If this damn down is going to to be over priced everywhere you go. At least step up to how it used to be. I been eating Taco Dons for over 2 decades. Don’t start people. Don’t start sucking please!

I went once before. I ordered a breakfast burrito. It was very good. This time I ordered a beef taco/bean tostada combo. I was very disappointed. The taco shell was the ready made taco bell type. Both the tostada and taco shell were soggy when I was served. That and the flavorless meat made the meal below average for me. If I go again I’ll stick with the breakfast burrito.
