Drove by this restaurant many times as we love to frequent the shops on New Haven. On our usual morning out for coffee and errands, my bestie and I drove by here once again and thought this time it would be cool to grab some tacos. We were very surprised by the atmosphere, but even more surprised by the food! Not your average taco joint for sure. The service was great from start to finish, the food portions not only a good size for the price, but extremely delicious and very filling. This place will be marked as one of our regular spots to dine.

My scallop tacos were to die for! The atmosphere was so fun. Our server Gia was APlus plus. Service was fast but not hurried in any way. In Florida, it’s so nice to sit outside in February! We will definitely be back.

Taco Dive was a great find! The atmosphere is clean, modern, and welcoming, and we came at a time when it wasn’t busy, which made it extra relaxing.
We tried quite a spread: chips with queso, smothered tots, three steak tacos, the Cajun shrimp taco, and the Underdog taco. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and unique—there are so many taco combinations here you’d never expect, and that’s what makes this place fun. The Cajun shrimp was a standout, and the Underdog was such a creative twist. My husband really enjoyed his steak tacos too.
One of the biggest highlights for me was the sauces. They have a whole variety, and each one was bold, distinct, and flavorful. What I loved most was that nothing tasted repetitive—every taco had its own unique flavor profile, which kept the meal exciting from start to finish.
Prices are very reasonable for the quality and portions. Overall, it’s a spot I’ll definitely return to and highly recommend if you’re looking for fresh, creative tacos in a laid-back setting!

They have one of the most accurate marketing claims I’ve seen in a couple of years l. They claim that they’re “Not Your Average Hole in the Wall Taco Dive”…
The place is super clean and open floor plan, bar-top counters, inside and outside table dining. The wait staff is very responsive, cheerful, even giggly. That in itself is refreshing to find these days.
I started with a cup of their fresh and homemade guacamole while waiting on the BLT Dive Style Taco. The Guacamole was perfect and the flavor boasted the freshness.
Regarding the BLT Dive Style Taco, I enjoyed the remarkable sloppiness of this taco as much as anything. At the first bite, the fried egg atop the pile of Apple Smoked Bacon bursted open and just soaked the taco with egg yolk, really bringing all the flavors of this BLT Taco together. The amount of Bacon shows how well they understand the customer’s expectations.
While waiting on the BLT Taco, I asked the waitress what they sold the most of and she commented, “probably the Shrimp Taco”. She continued to say that it was her favorite as well. Once about half-way through the BLT Dive Style Taco, I ordered the Cajun Shrimp Taco fully expecting the shrimp to be overcooked as the Griller tried to achieve the “Blackened” look and style so may cooks screw up, resulting in a dry and stringy shrimp disappointment. The Taco Dive Master Griller Nailed it. The shrimp were plump and moist with the perfected amount of the blackened style and seasoning, but cooked to perfection. This Taco was just as drippy and messy as the BLT but quite a bit more flavorful, if you can imagine that!
So now for the difficult part…I had to walk about 50 feet from free parking to get to the lunch at, “NOT YOUR AVERAGE HOLE IN THE WALL TACO DIVE”, in historic downtown Melbourne… I should’ve parked a little further away…God knows I could use a good walk after all that deliciousness!
I promise, you will not be disappointed!

My second visit was much better than my first. So glad I came back. We sat indoors and our server Harley was outstanding. We ordered the Trio as an appetizer and the guac, queso and salsa were exceptional tasting. My favorite was the pork taco with cabbage, pineapple bits, and Thai sauce. I will definitely eat the pork in a bowl the next time we come.

First time here staff was pretty friendly. I got a pork rice bowl. I wish it had more pineapple in it and maybe some type of sauce you get a lot of food for the price. Looking forward to trying other things on the menu just a tip for anyone mango habanero sauce taste really nice on this.

Very cute and quirky place! I had to get my order to-go (which the staff was very accommodating about) but I know I would have enjoyed sitting down at the bar or any of the tables. I got the Mahi bowl and it was ddeelliicciioouuss. Somehow my stomach became an empty void and I ate the whole thing in one sitting. I will definitely be going back.

Driving by decided to try this new taco place to us. We ordered the drunken burrito with pork and tator tots. Wow! Delicious.
We also order the Friday special taco, a Philly cheese steak one and pork taco. OMG! Damn they were good. Plenty of seats and Jaylin was amazing server, above and beyond. Definitely will come back.
