If you are heading east on 380 leaving McKinney, do yourself a favor, and pop in. Def. Hits the mark with the name ‘Delite’. Friendly staff, super generous portions, and overall delicious. Bean burrito the size of my forearm, homemade salsa, Chicken Soft Taco and Cheese Enchilada plate.

Halloween eve 2025 was the first time I’ve ever had a bad experience with a burrito in my life. The guys working that night didn’t know how to fold my super burrito. I opened it in the car in Princeton traffic and the bottom fell out all in my lab as I tried to take a bite. I realized it was only folded in half like a taco. It also was cold. I’ve had better experiences at this place before. I will say the homemade salsa is so good I could drink it.

This place has been here since I can remember. Growing up, my parents would often purchase the bean and cheese burritos for my breakfast and sometimes the breakfast burritos filled with eggs, cheese, and meat. My dad would order his Combo nacho with extra cheese and jalapenos (R.I.P.) it had been a staple in our household for years, probably since the late 90s. It was only recently I started eating here again, and memories flooded back. The nachos are always a treat and a sense of nostalgia for me. The burritos are huge and always fully stuffed to the brim with piping hot beans and cheese. (They do come with a sauce but growing up I preferred it plain). I really hate going to a taco stand and buying a burrito only to have it barely stuffed with too much tortilla. (My first photo is a burrito, 3/4s of the way eaten, haha.) I highly recommend this little long time taco joint for delicious comfort food (tex-mex). And it’s family owned so you know it’ll be good!

It’s been quiet some time since we’ve been to the Princeton Taco Delite. So far the last couple of visits have been good to us. I still see some of the same people that been there for years, but I not sure they are reading reviews or it’s new management. I always liked going there in the past and then seems like it went down hill food wise. Hopefully that’s changed because we’ve been pleased last couple times there.

It is really getting very tiring when you go to restaurants and they steal you money!!! I just got home to find that I only received two taquitos when I ordered a total of four!! Thanks Taco Delight employees for stealing $2.05 of my hard earned money. Since you cannot pick up the phone to rectify the error you made, hopefully someone will see this review and make an attempt to contact me to make this right!!
