This place persists because it is good enough food in a convention center. It is not good food. You should not stop in on a random visit. The meat was the best part of my two tacos, the salsa tasteless, the tortillas unpleasant, the lettuce limp, and the pico, wet.
This convention center sells cheese plates and croissants and good coffee. This convention center sells chicken tenders and meatballs and cubanos. All of which have more flavor and care put into them than these tacos.
This convention center should not sell these tacos. There are likely food trucks right outside selling better tacos, or proshki, or gyros. Give those places your money.

Grotty, not nice service and meagre food. Needed a quick burrito for lunch, got a tiny one that tasted ok. Two servers were grumpy and complained about various things. Including the card machine not working. The place is very unclean, rubbish all over the shop. Avoid.

This is not only the best place to eat at any convention, but the best place to eat downtown. You get a great burrito for cheap. God’s perfect restaurant.

I am a nursing student here for the national convention and decided to stop in at Tacos Del Mar one day for lunch. I was pleasantly surprised by the super friendly staff and delicious food. The prices were also extremely reasonable considering the location.

Always fast friendly service! Good value in the convention center right in the heart of downtown!

For downtown quick food you can’t go wrong. The prices are right, the service is exceptional, the dining area is clean, and the food is way better than some of the other significantly pricier options in the area.
Don’t sleep on Tacos Del Mar. I love the scorpion chicken burrito.

The definition of mid. Double layer your burrito or it’s going to fall apart. Still better than the Gyro Stop across from them. My advice? Take the extra few minutes to go across the street and you’ll pay half the price for better food.

I came here for a taco salad before a show. The food was disappointingly watery and devoid of flavor, despite the many topping choices. Unlike the gleaming spotless convention center, this gritty little shop is dingy and painted in garish colors. The service was also a letdown; the unenthused man behind the counter did not seem happy to be there working alone at the end of the day. Kind-of depressing all around. I’ll choose another place next time.

A favorite go to when I’m at the convention center. The tacos, burritos, and quesadillas are classic. They also have smoothies which are delicious. Fast and friendly service every time I go. Can’t remember a time I’ve been disappointed with the food even if I have to wait a while during a large convention. Even if you’re just downtown hanging out, it’s a great place to grab a quick bite.
