Went for simple bean and cheese burritos. It was certainly the worst I have ever had. It was incredibly bland. It tasted like plain crushed pinto beans. No fat. No spices. No flavor. I had to doctor them up at home to make them edible. I hope they get some pride in their food and turn this place around. I have to drive past it every time I go to get mexican. Would be nice to just walk half a block for good food. They would do a lot of business

I’m surprised the City of Atascadero hasn’t shut this place down yet! Just look at the photos, it is pretty disgusting inside. I ordered a bacon burrito and got a Rice Burrito!! LOL a 10.00 burrito should have at least some meat in it! Not going back and if you don’t want to get ripped off you shouldn’t either.
I will update this review when someone acknowledges my concerns here.
I told the cook, the burrito is full of rice and no bacon, he looked at me as if he did not understand what I was saying. I’m pretty sure he understood English, at least when he ripped me off as he took my order!

We visited recently after not having eaten here in a few years. Unfortunately I think it’s really gone down hill. It used to be our go-to spot when walking from the high school (14ish years ago) and it was great back then.
This time the place felt let go. There were ants in the drink dispenser. The tables outside were pretty gross. The food was not great. I’ve been on the hunt for the best fish tacos and this place is NOT it, by a long run.
Unfortunately, I think that was our last visit here.

Not from this area but I was craving a burrito. Everyone knows that San Diegos taco shops are the best for fast service Mexican food. I was not disappointed at the taco shop. Burrito came close to tasting like a Burrito from home. I got the California Burrito. Service could be better….lady seemed like she was bothered by my presence, could have been the fact that they were closing. I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt.

I love this place. It is on my list of best tacos around the area, and I love good tacos. The carnitas are awesome but nothing compares to the Carne Asada tacos here, they are alwayse top notch with no off or bad days. I love the carne asada here, very little fat and no bad pieces like you find at some other places. I’ll be honest, i like my tacos hot, and these do not dissappoint, but for those preferring something a little more mild, they do have a good mild sauce as well, but im never one to back down on heat.
