I ordered through Grubhub and I promise I will never make the mistake of eating anything from here again. The Madi Poppers were absolutely disgusting. I should have checked which location I was ordering from. These poppers were half the size that they are at the Comstock location and the texture of the filling was like snot from a nasal drip. Something was completely off with the taste. Even the ranch had a thick consistency and didn’t taste like ranch. Complete waste of money. I ordered 5 but could only eat one. I’m praying I don’t get sick but judging from the aftertaste, it seems inevitable. The Pina drink was good and that’s the only nice thing I have to say.

The food here is delicious, and it’s a comfortable, spacious place with music at a reasonable volume where you can chat comfortably. Now let me tell you about the food, which is delicious. You can try everything, and nothing will disappoint you. My favorites are the torta with its large French fries and the bacon-wrapped chilies, which are delicious. Best of all, the prices are very good, nothing excessive.

For our first time going here taco city y Mas was awsome. We had birria tacos that were outstanding. Birria tots very flavorful and loaded with meat, bean only tostadas awsome, fries rice combo very good. The Madi poppers are somthing very flavorful and just good. Elote was good and all washed down with a Mexican coke. Service was very quick food was delivered hot. The total was 112 for 5 and allot of drinks. Nice accommodations with all the sports on TVs you could want. I would reccomend this for a good meal.

Taco City y Mas is my favorite spot to get Birria tacos. The meat is tender and well seasoned. Their birria tots & Maddi Poppers are some of my other favorites as well. They have a wide range of menu items for whatever you may be in the mood for. The also have a full bar as well as non alcoholic drink options. The restaurant is always clean, plays good music, and has good vibes. Food is 10/10 everytime I dine here.

The lady at the original location told me about this one. I was VERY satisfied all for $17 (Tuesday $1.50 hard shell tacos, I had 4). I have chicken & steak in the jalepenos (3 for $5). Def held me over for the day. The horchata was perfect for my sweet tooth. Can’t wait to come back, sit down, and enjoy the vibes because they are definitely there!

Taco City was decent. Went on a Friday night. The music and vibe were great, food was blah, and the waitress was nice. I was hungry and just passing by, but it’s not my crowd and food wasn’t exceptional, so I won’t go again . Perfect place for a younger crowd though or if you just need a quick taco fix.

02/13/2025- Everything was off today. It was a total disappointment today. It was 67 degrees inside the facility when we stopped in for lunch. It was colder inside than it was outside and the lights were off. Hubby’s food was cold, our fries were soggy, and the music was obnoxiously loud. They lost several stars and points with me.
The food and drinks were good. I had the fajita torta and my son had the barbacoa torta with Horchata. Great portions and the price for the torta is reasonable. It looks like it would be a whole vibe on a weekend night, but it was pretty empty when we went. The customer service is non- existent. We had to go to the register area to get additional napkins, limes, and a to-go container. I recommend they work on their housekeeping and customer service. I also didn’t check my receipt for additional fees 20% gratuity fees(mentioned on others previous reviews). If that’s the case I might reconsider if I will be going back.

Yummy! We were kindly greeted by a nice gentleman by the name of Alexis. He was very informative with the menu and patient. Our food came out promptly and it looked amazing! Food was fresh and hot, flavorful, and good portions. We enjoyed the aguas frescas, we got watermelon and lime. I highly recommend the drinks they were perfect! Our food was brought out by Nancy, she was very friendly and kind. We have been looking for a good taco spot in mesquite for the last 6 years and finally we have found it!! Taco city is the spot to go to for good street tacos. Stop on by and check them out, the place was very clean and it’s huge. Big enough to accommodate big parties. The restrooms also smelled and looked very clean. Welcome to Mesquite Taco City y mas!! Glad you call Mesquite your new home! Thank you Nancy and Alexis!
