These guys are awesome, it’s a local taco and tex mex spot that feels so very local. Go a few times and they’ll know your order as soon as you walk in. Go a few more times and you’ll get to know them, too. We love Taco City and try to go on Tuesdays for their Taco Tuesday deal. Great spot, great people.

We are regulars at this place, because the tacos are amazing! The owner is also super kind and attentive to the needs of his customers. You’ve got to try this place if you haven’t already. I’d recommend the City Bowl or the Al Pastor tacos in a hard shell.

Taco City has an authentic Mexican restaurant feel with the decorative color scheme and menu items. Walked in the restaurant and upon taking my seat I was quickly given some chips and salsa. I felt like the food was reasonably priced and portion size was adequate. I think the food was good also. Not great but good. It did taste authentic.

The food here is AMAZING and actually authentic. I would give it 5 stars if I didn’t have terrible service almost every time I went. Regardless, I’ll still keep going back for the food itself. The gorditas are my favorite!

We live in Louisville but have family in Sellersburg that we visit a few times a year and this has become our go to dinner stop each time we are there. The food is AMAZING and the service is just as good. The birria tacos are some of the best I have ever had. While most that I have tried tend to break apart easily, these hold up very well to the consume.
