Wow blow away by Taco Cabo! They were friendly as soon as we walked in the door and had a large offering of Mexican dishes like fajitas, burritos, quesadillas, tacos, and even had some fresh baked goods next to the register. It was busy which was good to see, you can tell the place is loved. The owner was so personable and kind making us feel like friends or family even though it was our first time. The food was excellent, everything was fresh and made to order. It was pretty busy during lunch time which was good to see! Over all, definitely would be back here.

Vibes were great! Horchata was really smooth, the sauces were nice and spicy, the tacos were cooked really well, loved the tongue and al pastor the most! Churros were crunchy and had a caramel filling. Seating can be tight if you have a large party of more than 6. Very casual dining.

Taco tortillas are handmade, but they could have been cooked longer. I enjoyed the chips, but they needed some salt. Avoid the dirty queso; it was watery. Make sure to ask for some salsa to spice up the tacos.

My friends and I love taco Cabo, it’s a steamboat staple; amazing food, amazing drinks, and amazing staff. They have the best pozole in town by far, and I feel like the food is generally reasonably priced. But when I asked for a small side of fresh jalapeños (not the whole roasted jalapeños on the menu), as the soup was lacking a little ~kick~, they asked me to pay an additional $3. Personally that seemed a little ridiculous for a little extra soup topping so I ultimately declined. Other than that, love this place!

Perfect place for a quick bite & incredible tasting food. Their horchata is just right, and the colorado tacos were spiced just right

Great experience at Taco Cabo! The staff were all friendly and accommodating. I got the steak burrito and it was cooked perfectly. I sat outside next to the Yampa river while eating my food and it was such a serene setting. I would recommend this place to anyone!

food was really great little spendy but still good.
after seating and eating went to buy a soda to go and the lady at the register was kind of panicking for some reason and opened the soda I ordered to go, instead of grabbing me a different one she grabbed the lid out of the trash and tried to screw it back on, so I said I was good.
would go back again, I don’t know what i did to make that lady panic so hard though haha.

Our family goes to Taco Cabo every time we are in Steamboat Springs for ski or hiking season. The food is amazing! We got married this October in Steamboat and Taco Cabo catered. Our guests were amazed by the quality and quantity of food! We went with a self serve Taco bar that included beef, carnitas and Pollo tinga. Lily and her staff came to set-up day of and take down the following day. We highly recommend their restaurant, catering and service for all!
Thank you Lily and Taco Cabo.

Taco Cabo is fresh and delicious. Tortillas are made in house as is the bread for tortas. The tamales were yummy, the carne asada was my favorite. I’m very happy we checked it out. I’ll definitely be back!
