I think Taco Cabana is a solid fast food choice. The ingredients and the food is certainly better than McDonald’s or Taco Bell or other similar priced restaurants. It’s not the best choice in San Antonio for this type of American/ Mexican food though. I appreciate the easy to use app and the rewards. The prices can’t be beat. The $5 breakfast meal deal of coffee, 2 tacos, and a hash brown is excellent. The restaurants also seem cleaner than other similar ones. The service is slow though and I have had to wait really long times for my food. It seems like they’re taking care of the drive thru before the customers in the building. I would also appreciate free refills on coffee especially if we have to wait so long for our food. My hash browns were also pretty cold by the time I received so the timing of everything was off. The restaurant has a pleasant and modern feel to it. The outside area also looked very inviting. It’s a good restaurant to bring kids and they have plenty of high chairs.

For the love of GOD please stop closing locations!!! And if you do… DO NOT CLOSE THIS LOCATION! it is soooo good!!! The 4 that surround my home are now closed and I traveled a ways to get to this one and it was soooo worth it! These nachos are hands down the best and no one has this flavor!!! Red salsa was on point!

Got the crispy taco plate and the crispy taco shells were so hard and stale almost hurt my tooth trying to bite into it. I ended up just eating the meat with a fork. The tacos were also soaking in oil the employees have brought down the quality in food you would think they would do the opposite with the other nearest locations closing down.

This place couldn’t be more awful if you’re going to go to a taco cabana the best taco banner in the area is up toward beorne. This place consistently gets orders wrong leaves off. Entire portions of a meal. And as you can see by pictures of this Nacho, which costs $2 extra to add fajita meat, there’s hardly any cheese or fajita meat, and there’s a whole bunch of raw, fresh jalapenos on top of it who does this. I would highly recommend steering clear of this establishment.

The chips and cheese salsa (excellent), burrito and steak tacos were delicious. All ingredients were fresh and expertly prepared. The only issue we saw was a little need for cleaning up. Otherwise, for the price, this was a nice TexMex spot.

Went to this location to buy a drink. I walked in there was no line. I stood there a good 10 minutes, a guy wearing a blue shirt pretending to clean grill, and a girl making orders clearly saw me, and still no service. They were too busy “flirting” at this point I wanted to just take a cup and go but I’m not low like that. So a guy comes from who knows where he greets me I tell him I just want to buy a drink, (a Big Red) he tells me “oh umm wait i need to check if I can, if I can (literally stuttering) sell it” I’m like so confused at that point. Like wow. Then I’m literally standing there, he goes to check the machine and instead of coming back, he takes a tray out. These people working that shift clearly SUCKED. No Customer Service at all. None what so ever. I think corporate needs to give them a visit in disguise.

Cashier was not friendly. It was as if she didnt want to be there. Ordered a bean & cheese burrito & a cheese quesadilla. The burrito was hot but my quesadilla wasn’t as if they had made it & it had sat there. They took a long time before we got ur food. There were so backed up with customers complaining about how long the wait was but then there were 2 customers that came from the drive through that were complaining also. They don’t give out numbers like others they just call out the last number on ur receipt so people are confused

I usually have a good experience at this establishment but today really made me mad. I wanted Dr Pepper they were out…which was fine, but then I get to the window and ask for salsa. I asked for 5 and the guy said there was only enough for 2 so I drove around, went inside, got the amount I wanted. The fact that a customer has to go in and do the job because you are lazy and don’t want to. THEN I get home and my bacon and egg tacos are all bean and cheese. The dude working today needs a stern talking to.

Ordered some chicken fajita tacos, and chicken fajita nachos…the nachos were a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!! The taco had 3 small pieces of chicken fajita…And the chicken fajita nachos…all the beans and cheese were dumped on one side of the bowl, not spread OVER the chips. And the sour cream portion was is in a tiny portion container, not the regular size, that’s a lil bigger. One teaspoon of sour cream for the nachos…sucked!! Step it up TC!!

Went through the drive through on our way back home to Leander, Texas. It was a little slow, but not too bad. Drive through attendant couldn’t understand what I was trying to order at first and I needed to report my order several times.

No napkins were put in the bag or any utensils, thankfully, I checked the bag before I left, and they were courteous to give me utensils and napkins.
