Staff – A+++, I wish I knew their names but they listen and really try to take care of you!
Food – B+ & C-, for the most part it’s top notch good food – I still don’t think they know what real Mexican beans are supposed to taste like “no garlicky taste” real Mexican food taste rich without all that! Now the the C- explanation – sauces on the togo orders are often spoiled and not fresh – you can see the container bulging from bacterial gas releases inside the container – please wash your hands, clean utensils, and prep area & then label and rotate sauces to prevent making me ill. That’s it – can they improve absolutely – just pay attention. Oh and they forgot something of my order, n biggie they are generally understanding and do give it back to you – inconvenient yes!

I’ve been a frequent customer of Taco Cabana and usually love stopping by for my tacos and breakfast. However, my last visit was quite unpleasant due to the attitude of a new employee.
I went to pick up an online order to save time, but I found that this person was not only unfriendly but also made me feel uncomfortable with unnecessary demands. She asked me to sign a paper without a clear explanation, and when I asked why, her response was confusing and delivered with a very unpleasant attitude. Even while her coworker was verifying the order, this employee made unprofessional comments that made me feel like I was doing something wrong simply for picking up my order.
Ultimately, this interaction with this particular employee is what ruined the experience. I would like the store to ensure that its staff receives proper customer service training, because the food is good, but a bad attitude really spoils everything.

This picture should tell you everything you need the know. Obviously the people preparing this was not interested in working. I was the only one in the drive thru and when I got to the window the 2 women prepping for were just talking. Heaven forbid they are expected to work while on the clock.

I could have given this place a 5 star for food taste ,but I was so disappointed w/ my order. It was a Chicken Fajita Combo, it came w/ 2 Chicken Fajita tacos, chips w/ a queso dip & a drink. Sounds good for $9.89. But when I opened the Chicken Fajita tacos ,it was just a plain few strips of chicken Fajitas in a tiny taco wrap. I was expecting some onions w/ it or something else. But none. Although disappointed ,I took it in stride & ate it. Wow, not worth the price ,I said to myself. But I later complained about it & the employees were accommodating to hear my disappointment & the employee named Jessie actually gave me the right Chicken Fajita w/ the onions & grilled pepper. Way to go Jessie ! You made my order worth the price !

The food tends to be good. The meat beef fajita has been overcooked/burnt/dry lately. But the overall food was good.
The reason for my review is not the food, but the service I received from Mohamed. You can tell there were a lot of people, but Mohamed delivered not only the food, but service woth a huge smile. I promised him I would leave him a good review. Take note, my visit was on 01-12-26, and I am just now writing this review. This is how impactful/memorable he was during my visit.

Only giving 1 star because I have no choice. This place gave my order to the people in front of me. They drove around, looked in the bag, realized it wasn’t their food, and brought it back. The employee then tried to hand that same food to me.
I refused and asked for it to be remade since strangers had already handled it and I had no idea what could’ve been done to it. Instead of remaking it, they put the same food into a different bag and tried to give it to me again. I refused once more and asked for a refund since I paid in cash.
They couldn’t seem to figure out how to give my money back and kept asking if I wanted more food. I just wanted my refund. Very disappointing experience and poor handling of a basic food safety issue.

I love when Mordechai is at the window. He is excellent at customer service. I do drive thru often & never have an issue with his service. Great job, Mordechai. I should also mention that my profession & expertise is in customer service & it is often how I choose where I go to meet my needs, food, clothing, Dr office, nail salon, etc. If customer service is lacking, I give the location a 2nd chance. If it still needs improvement, I bring it up to the manager or owner of the establishment. I’ll try again, but that’s the last time, if the issue(s) are not resolved enough.
So you see, it means a lot when I say Mordechai’s skills are on track.

Once a great spot, on a recent visit the place was filthy. If a restaurant has windows that look like they have not been cleaned in years and the fixtures in the restroom have actual slime GROWING on them, i take it as an indicator of the managers general attitude about hygiene and cleanliness. I wouldn’t eat anything prepared in that kitchen on a bet! Avoid this place!

I’m from CT and never experienced Taco Cabana!! I finally got to have it after my bf has been talking about it for years!!! For fast food it is very reasonable prices and the flavor is so on point! I’ve never seen fresh tortillas being made and the employees showed me how it’s done! We ate here twice and the breakfast was also so damn good with tons of favor! I wish Taco Cabana would come to CT!!! Five stars!! Definitely will be back
