TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! This location used to be good, but our experience the last couple of visits, especially today, was nothing good! First of all, we only ordered 6 breakfast tacos between 9:30-9:45 a.m., so they were not busy at all, yet they did not manage to get a single taco made correctly! We have a couple of family members who cannot eat cheese. Well, guess what? Cheese all over both of theirs! I ordered 2 bacon, egg and cheese with jalapeños on corn tortillas. Neither had any jalapeños and each taco was made with only a single corn tortilla which are paper-thin and both fell apart the minute I took the first bite. Normally, all food establishments that serve breakfast tacos on corn tortillas serve them doubled because this is what happens when you don’t. This is the first Taco Cabana I have EVER gotten them that they did not make the tacos on a doubled corn tortilla. What a mess and disappointing! We also ordered a large queso with chips, which turned out to be the tiniest “Large” size we’ve ever gotten from any restaurant that sells queso. Taco Cabana’s has been one of our favorite quesos for years, but this was awful! It was so thick that it seemed more like some kind of melted down cheese ball and was very dark in color. The taste of the cheese was super sharp and almost sour.Yuck! No one in our family even wanted it. This is the opposite problem we normally had in the past when we got queso fromTaco Cabana. Everyone used to fight over it because it was so good…Lol!
We have been getting food from Taco Cabana for many years and have noticed that things seem to be taking a downward turn in quality, taste, and especially inaccuracy. The family member who placed the order said that English is definitely NOT the first language at this location so when he was putting in the order this made it very stressful and frustrating. There is apparently a big language barrier contributing to the inaccuracy of the orders being put out here. We WILL NOT be returning to this location again and may be through with Taco Cabana altogether after this experience. Such a shame! They used to be so good!

I’ve ordered food twice at this location so far. Both times the order was perfect. I do think they should invest in their facility and Landscaping to brighten the place up a little bit but the food is great and that’s what matters

FUQUA and 45 south Houston tx taco cabana crew did a great job on our big family order f 100$ and on time with the correct salsas , serving spoons, and plenty of napkins. Of course made fresh.

A Very Good local Texas Franchise next to Whataburger, another Texas franchise favorite and the Older Settlers Ranch entranceway off of Fuqua. This place has always had remarkable landscaped grounds around their entrances and their drive-through, especially outside the dine-in patio area, where I ate my breakfast on the hottest day of the year so far. A balmy 97 degrees with no breeze had me eating my breakfast plate, plus one small, soft Barbacoa taco for $3.69, which are made only on Saturdays and Sundays, all under 10 minutes.The beauty outside made up for the other mishaps here like the patio door locking me outside,so I had to use their side gate exit to go inside the restaurant to find and inform the shift manager of the nuisance of being locked outside.

We get great service when we order online or order in. This location gives you plenty when you order and great service. There are other locations in our area , but we go out of our way to patronize this location. Keep up the great service . It means a lot these days.

Repeated my order three times and it was repeated correctly when it was handed to me so I did not open the box the check. I get home to find out the order is WRONG. This is not what I ordered… I give up with the quality of service. This is across board all over not just Taco Cabana. People just don’t care anymore. I’m changing my expectations and going in with the assumption that my order will be incorrect and if it’s correct well that is a bonus.
