I should have caught the first red flag when I went into an almost empty restaurant on Saturday at lunchtime. I ordered a large quesadilla and waited longer than average to receive it. I opened one of the cut pieces to photograph the contents. This is a typical piece. Two things: (1) I would hate to see what the small size looks like and (2) your business is not going to be long for this world if this is a standard quesadilla. I will not be coming back.

The staff were absolutely amazing and went far above and beyond anything I expected. I had placed an online order for breakfast tacos for my son, but we were coming from school and got stuck in heavy traffic, arriving about an hour later than planned. Without hesitation—and without me even asking—the staff kindly remade the tacos so we could enjoy them fresh and warm. That level of thoughtfulness and customer care truly meant a lot to us. It completely turned around our day, especially after dealing with the nightmare traffic on I-20. This is outstanding service, and it did not go unnoticed.

TACO CABANA IS UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT AND THE SERVICE IS AMAZING!! ITZEL TOOK GREAT CARE OF US IN THE DRIVE-THROUGH TODAY. WHEN WE PULLED UP, THERE WERE FIVE CARS IN FRONT OF US AND WE HONESTLY ALMOST GOT OUT OF LINE BECAUSE USUALLY THE SERVICE IS SO INCREDIBLY SLOW! This is the worst run Taco Cabana. I’m. It not sure how it makes it. In the last month I’ve stopped three times on. Friday morning just before 8:00 am. Only once have I ordered because I get to the speaker and they inform me that it will be about a 30 to 40 minute wait. Twice in the last month I’ve stopped to get fajitas for lunch. Twice I’ve been told they don’t have any fajitas ready and it will be 20 to 40 minutes before they do. The whole management team needs to be fired. You’re a Mexican food place and you don’t have food ready at lunch? I love the food at TC but let’s get some competent employees.

They have a free karaoke machine with YouTube nd unlimited song options. The food was good, the cast was not up to par on this day but other days taste better so not sure what’s up with that. For those who drink they have $2 margaritas.

Don’t come to the drive through unless your willing to wait for 30+ minutes for your food. Even if you’re the only person in line for some reason this place has the longest wait times I’ve ever experienced at a fast food restaurant. I’ve been in line so long I figured I would make this review while I wait. Food is never terrible but waiting for it isn’t the greatest.

Great physical location and decent food. Horrible service and speed. I write this as I am continuing to wait, 2nd person in line and with no others in restaurant, just to place an order. I wish this store would either go under new/better management or close down so we could get a food place with better service here.
Food is good but avoid due to bad service.
Updated: ultimately took almost 20 minutes to order and then 16 minutes to get the food. Terrible service. Had to go ask for my food after they gave the person that ordered before me and after Me’s order out and didn’t have mine ready when mine was just too chicken tacos on flour tortillas. Then they didn’t even give it to me for dying in like I asked, which was fine because the last place I wanted to be was here half an hour plus after getting in the front door. Taco cabana seriously needs to retrain the store.
