Omg so I walk in, I’m greeted by the sweetest person cleaning. I order my food, the gentleman called me maam, which I think is a southern thing, regardless, I was like omg how respectful. So I check the place out, and the cleaning person was like do you want a free candy cane? I was like umm sure thank you so much. I got to pick my candy cane out, and chat with that person, so sweet. Anyway, my food is ready, and the lady who prepared it says god bless your meal, I’m from Washington, this literally doesn’t happen. I was like thank you and god bless your hands for making this meal. Anyway I go and eat it and it’s pretty good, I got the brisket melt. For being 10 bucks, can’t really complain. I love the pink aesthetics, very catchy. Love the salsa bar. I have to say tho whoever was cleaning did it for me, they were so sweet! The hospitality I received made the food that much better.

This was a really disappointing visit. When we arrived, the menu was so faded you could barely read it, and the lighting inside was very dim. On top of that, they were out of almost everything we tried to order — no enchiladas, no corn tortillas, no limes. It was frustrating, but we decided to give it a shot anyway.
Unfortunately, it only got worse. Shortly after we got our food, someone came in and began asking customers for food and money, which made the whole experience uncomfortable.
The food itself was honestly the biggest letdown. Everything was dry and lacked flavor — no sauces, no seasoning, nothing that made it enjoyable. They gave us a huge bowl of chips with a tiny portion of queso, and even the fountain drinks tasted watered down.
There were so many opportunities for this visit to be better, but it missed the mark in almost every area. Sadly, we won’t be coming back.

I get breakfast tacos from here quite a bit. They’ve decreased the size of the tortillas and the bean/cheese tacos barely have anything in them.
However, prices have gone up.
This is substantially a smaller breakfast taco than it used to be and is not comparable to any other breakfast tacos around.
I’ve included a photo of what their bean and cheese tacos look like now. Definitely not comparable to any other Taco Cabana.

Went there on Saturday August 16 and ordered bean and cheese breakfast tacos. This is the pig feed I received. I told them that these were not bean and cheese tacos. They told me they were and maybe the recipe had been changed. I have been going to Taco Cabano for years and never received bean and cheese breakfast tacos that looked liked these. I couldn’t finish them as they were runny, very dark and had specks in them. I have been to this location two other times with no issues. I am never visiting that location again.

Glad this TC is still in operation. Had a fajita taco that was full of beef fajita meat which made it worth the price. The bean burrito was good as always, tasted close to homemade. Probably could’ve made 2 burritos with the amount of beans they used.

I really hate posting negative reviews, but this needs a spotlight.

I drove a long way to grab chips and queso with my kids, and when we arrived, we stood at the counter while multiple staff members in the kitchen looked directly at us and said nothing. Not a “hold on,” not a “we’ll be right with you,” not even eye contact paired with acknowledgment.

After waiting without any recognition, we decided to leave. As we walked out, one of the staff members casually said, “Goodbye, have a good day.”

It was a disappointing and memorable experience for all the wrong reasons. A simple acknowledgment would have made all the difference.

Update a year later: their price to portion ratio is ridiculous. The foiled taco was over 4 bucks. Something you can just buy at a Mexican meat market for 2.50. not worth it .

I knew that the food here would be a little on the expensive side, at least for the portions. So I took it upon myself to just buy some beans rice and tortillas. My mom used to do the same thing just to save her money. I will say the tortillas are nice hot and fluffy and definitely taste homemade. However the beans are way scalding hot, and have little to no flavor. I’m not one to like salty foods, so this is saying a lot from someone like me. They definitely need more seasoning or salt. I’m not a fan of Mexican rice but this doesn’t have the weird ketchupy flavor to it like authentic Mexican style rice, so that I appreciate.

The free salsa they give to the side, is a little too mild for me and not enough cilantro and lime.
Everything displayed in the photos was a little over $11. I guess that’s a decent amount for 12 tortillas and some rice and beans.

Overall this place is all right just not something to talk about.

I’ve been to this location twice this month. Food is decent, however, one morning I went and the young man forgot to ask if I needed salsa and it’s slipped my mind as well, so, I returned to get salsa. He told me there’s a self served bar, when I went in the bar was super messy idn’t really like how it looked, and this was 8AM. I will make sure they don’t forget my salsa. But I will surely be back. The personnel is very nice.

Extremely disturbed by the rudeness of the staff. Couldn’t even complete an order through the drive through because the team was so extremely rude including management and refused to honor the happy hour pricing on the menu trying to charge full price. I’d recommend NEVER going to this location. Was worried with the awful service what my food might turn out like because the ladies at the drive through including the “manager” hated to be taking my order, did not want to give me any time at all to look at the menu, ignored me for 5 minutes in the drive through after I asked to look at the menu and tried to charge me full price for something that was clearly listed as discounted during the period of time I was there. Will never be returning to this location again. I wrote in to corporate hoping they do something about the staff there. By looking at the reviews it’s clear I’m not the only one to experience such treatment.
