If I could leave zero stars it would be an upgrade. This place had to have been bought out I’ve been going there for 20 years it’s awful now (understatement). Just ordered two steak burritos to go, got home opened them up to add hot sauce (by the way they even made the hot sauce plastic packets smaller) and there was nothing there besides steak (or whatever you want to call it), no beans, tomatoes lettuce etc. the normal stuff. My wife called them to share the finding and the girl on the phone all but called her a liar, we put everything on there blah blah blah, amazing. I decided to add sour cream and some cheese so there was something else there. I began to eat it as I hadn’t eaten all day and took two bites which I promptly spit out even the meat garbage. So in the trash it went . You’ve been warned find another place!!!!!!!!!!!!!! $25 for food I wouldn’t give my dog.

This place is the best small diner taco place around! The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the guy who takes the orders (I assume he’s the owner?) is such a polite guy. He makes me feel like he genuinely appreciates your business and I therefore appreciate him and the cooks.
Today I tried the Flamin hot Cheetos nachos. They were amazing and huge! They also make a bacon taco which is exactly what it sounds like.
Everything is good here. Never been disappointed. Repeat customer but first time reviewing.

When I went there I ordered the dinner chimichanga and my boyfriend ordered Quesadilla. As you can see in the pictures, they barely gave him any sour cream. When my boyfriend asked for more… The guy wanted to upcharge him, knowing my boyfriend and how he can be…He asked the guy if the sour cream was for him to dip his quesadilla in or just for show. The guy said it was for dipping… Look at the quesadilla and look how much sour cream they gave him. Like, let’s be real. The one in Island Lake is way better and the staff are nicer. If you are craving Mexican food, I suggest you go somewhere else.

New to area, first time here. Best shrimp tacos, added Cilantro to mine, perfection. Also had the enchiladas rancheras, plain cheese but added onion, they even made the sauce milder for me due to health issues I have with spicy stuff. The lady at the counter was also the sweetest thing ever and super helpful. One of the best Mexican places I’ve ever been to. So happy to live down the street from this gem!

nice guys, had the chilaquiles but didn’t super enjoy them. sauce flavor and quantity not up my alley, pretty different version to any i had in cdmx and enjoyed more. can’t speak to other dishes but i’d try something different on a subsequent visit.

A friend and I were out in the area from Chicago.
Made the random decision to try food from here since it was in the same parking lot as the gas station. An absolute waste of $23
We had to eat outside in the car because how humid and gross feeling it was inside the restaurant.
I ordered a sope. Nothing extra special but wasn’t bad.
My friend ordered a Burrito Chile Relleno. Something was an extra cost to it, okay fine.
My friend could not even pick up whatever slop of a “burrito” that was made! He had to go back inside to ask for a box to put it in so he could attempt to eat it.
Couldn’t even finish eating it. It was greasy and just gross!
