In 1967, we opened our doors in Abilene, TX to share fresh, authentic Mexican food. I went a few days ago and Noemi took my order she’s a wonderful person with a great smile and very caring and welcoming she took my order made my food right no issues and she also took time to listen to me vent about a coma I came out of was in a coma 2 yrs ago and had 5%chance of survival I survived it thank you God for that but it was the simple facts that she took the time to listen to me talk about it asked questions and was willing to listen to a stranger talk about his personal life there was another girl Abigail maybe if not I forgot her name but I asked her if she had a perm done she told me it was all natural she is also a very good person always working very sweet and food is also always on point when she is there. We need more people like them to ladies in this world thank you Noemi for listening to a piece of my story I meant alot

My wife had to wait 5 minutes for the teenagers to stop talking and joking around for them to take her order. Once she got her order in, they then went back to their antics and took another 5-10 minutes for them to make her order. When she got home (just a few minutes away) her food was ice cold, like it had never cooked. My bean burrito appears to have spit on it that leaked through the burrito.
To make matters worse, my wife went through to return the food for a refund and there was no manager on duty. It makes sense now why these teenagers were acting the way they were and sending out cold food. They refused to refund her money and said she’ll have to return again tomorrow to attempt to get a refund.

We pulled into the drive thru at 832pm on a Monday evening and sat waiting for someone to take our order for 6 minutes. We repeatedly tried to get someone’s attention inside via the intercom without success. Finally we pulled around to the window wondering if the store was closed for the night. When we saw the lights on but no one at the window our first thought was maybe something had gone horribly wrong – perhaps they’d been robbed?
But no — as we were contemplating whether we should call the police, 3 young men appeared in the window, laughing and rough housing and 2 of them looked directly at us and continued ignoring us. Blatantly. Time to clean house and hire employees that are willing to work. These clowns stopped serving 1.5 hours before the posted closing time. There were 2 more cars behind us when we left. Wonder how much money is lost due to hiring poorly?

Drove through to pickup tacos for dinner. I might as well have gone and picked up scraps from the garbage for dinner – I would’ve received more food. The fact that a single taco costs $2.50 and includes the equivalent of not even $0.10 of ingredients is absurd. I have no problem paying to eat out; however, I expect to get at least somewhat of my money’s worth. I would not pay someone $0.75 for these tacos. As The amount of filling is a joke. As well, it is apparently too much to ask for a restaurant to cut a quesadilla into bit size pieces – one that comes from a fast food restaurant, let alone. Additionally, I was rushed to order in the drive through and as a result also ordered one of the incorrect meals. This is not inherently the fault of the restaurant; however, when I asked the person taking my order to please wait I was repetitively asked “what can I get you,” rather than being allowed time to read the menu. I have ate at Taco Bueno for years and have never once been so disappointed. This location needs an overhaul.

the young man that took my order was very nice and did a great job. I’m not happy with the food they gave me. I know they’re party tacos but there should be more than a crumb of meat in the bottom they’re already smaller tacos they should have the right amount of meat. also, its all lettuce. the party burritos are the same thing about half as full as they normally are. this is a typical thing I order for lunch. I know for a fact what it typically looks like. this was not them. not sure if the management directed their employees to do this or it was just negligence on the people that put the food together for me. I will not buy anything from this location again because the value is not there. half the food for the same cost doesn’t make sense to me.

Customer service was awful. Young man handing me food through the drive thru was looking back and talking with employees the entire interaction and never once used any manners, saying thank you, you’re welcome, etc. All food was handed to me blindly since he was facing the people inside the entire time. When he was finished handing me food I said thank you, and he slammed the window shut without another word. Had to go back inside to get my card because they never handed it back. I understand it’s a fast food restaurant but this was just baffling.

My family picked me up dinner. I asked for beef nacho salad without lettuce and tomato’s. And they gave me nothing but chip. I got in my car and drove up there and went inside and opened up the container and asked what is this.? The associate was like what that’s messed up. When she showed what I’m assuming is the managers cause there in black shirts they looked at me like there was nothing wrong. One started speaking Spanish. They remade it and it was crap. The managers had a problem redoing it and did not apologize or anything. They just put it in the bag and walked away. The worst experience ever and piss poor customer service. The managers need to be fired and the fact that they saw nothing wrong with how they made the food is crazy. I won’t be back there. Ever again. Look at the pictures. The fact they had no problem with that and looked at me like I was crazy is mind blowing.

I went to taco bueno in sachse Texas and they had at the register free toys for kids customers I guess for Christmas but denied my kids especially my special needs daughter when asking. I usually wouldn’t complain about something like this but I felt that the staff was very rude about it and just felt like there was another way they could’ve handled it. My daughter left crying throwing a tantrum because she didn’t understand and the staff was speaking in Spanish to each other about my kids which I understood what they said and I felt like I was judged as a single mother with all my kids and would just appreciate if they would not be like this to other customers. At this point I feel like Taco bueno is not family friendly place at least this location and will not be eating here after that.

This franchise has gotten worse over time. This is a Mucho Tostada that was not correctly packaged. Everything is a mess and soggy. Make sure to check your orders before leaving the lane. So disappointing. They also tried to give our order to another person. They said they checked the order to make sure it was right. Got home and it’s not 2 BF Nachos but 2 Nacho Salads.
