In 1967, we opened our doors in Abilene, TX to share fresh, authentic Mexican food. Now, almost 52 years later, while the other guys have turned to packaged and processed foods, we’ve stayed true to our roots by crafting authentic recipes in each of our kitchens. We do things the Bueno way, and you’re sure to taste the difference.

Terrible experience. I knew I should’ve left when I waited 10 minutes to order. We waited another 25 minutes for our food. When we got our tray, there was a long purple hair on it. Gross!
Then, I opened my beef burrito and there was barely any meat on it and it was undercooked. The meat was pink. Not worth the risk.
They only have two people working dinner rush which is insane. Taco Bueno used to by my favorite fast food chain, but looks like I won’t be coming back. It’s gone downhill.

The only complaint I had about this location was outside on the speaker I could hear a echo which made it impossible to hear what they were saying inside. The food was hot, basically scolding hot which is much better than cold, and it was cooked perfectly. I didn’t go inside the establishment so I’m not sure how dirty it actually is. But the food is good and they got my order correct, with the exception of added sauce to one of the burritos that I asked to remove, and they didn’t provide napkins in the to go order I am addicted to Taco Bueno so it’s really hard for me to give a bad rating for the franchise.

Sad I had to make this review and this is a brand new location. This is my 4th time coming through the drive through and it gets worse and worse. They don’t acknowledge when you pull up every last person that works there acts like they don’t want to work. I had to pull to the window to order and they had a crappy attitude. Customer service is horrible. I will not return to this location until I see the staff is replaced. The owner needs to replace the entire staff if they want to stay in business

Update, still the worst run restaurant I’ve found in years. Tried again hoping for change. NOPE, STILL TERRIBLE SERVICE, PRIMARILY FROM MANAGERS.
Don’t waste your food dollars here. Go to El Dorado location.
Missing food at drive thru, came back to get missing items, no apology, no compensation or an extra item for travel home, there and back. Happens regularly. Staff treat you like you should feel appreciative to bother them to get your meal.
Disgusting place. Done.
Worst employees ever. The MOST UNPROFESSIONAL (can’t be bothered to even acknowledge a customer)

This was our first time using mobile ordering at this restaurant. We received everything we ordered. There was little to no wait. The staff was friendly and polite. I would highly recommend.

Rolled up at 9:53 on a Friday night- one car ahead of me. Sat at the speaker til 9:55 then decided to pull around.. car in front of me already gone. Sat there at window for 30 seconds then honked: said hello? Don’t you close at 10, they just stared at me. The gentleman got my order and huffed and puffed. Took 6 min to get my mexi rips and chips… maybe don’t have an open sign on or help the person right in front of me if you’re gonna act like your closed!

When this place opened, it was staffed, clean, and prompt. In a short month, the exact opposite is now true. The store is dirty slow and constantly understaffed. Taco Bueno has no pride in its brand new store.

Skimp crunchy rice, salty guacamole, runny Nacho cheese, lack of sauce and flavor. Worst worst bueno of all time. Go to Taco Bell for better quality!!
