In 1967, we opened our doors in Abilene, TX to share fresh, authentic Mexican food. Now, almost 52 years later, while the other guys have turned to packaged and processed foods, we’ve stayed true to our roots by crafting authentic recipes in each of our kitchens. They have a drive-through, but I prefer to dine-in. How ’bout them Cowboys? They won, so I had to get my FREE Cowboy’s Beef Crispy Taco . I also ordered a Party Burrito and a Party Taco . They have a free Salsa Bar. Everything was good. Ask about a 10% Senior Discount.

Went through the drive thru to grab a quick snack. I usually go to Taco Casa and I’ve never even eaten at Taco Bueno before. But I was shopping at Aldi and it was right across the street. I ordered a burrito and a tostada off of the value menu. Both of the items were $1.49 each and the total was $3.83. The food was just as I expected. The service was ok. There were no cars ahead of me in line so it was quick. The kid at the window barely spoke to me. I realized after I drove away I wasn’t offered a receipt for my purchase nor was there one in my bag. When I got home I immediately checked my bank account for the total charge.

I actually really like this location because the food is always served hot and the tortillas are always crispy. I just wish some people would wear hairnets and stay off their phone while touching food. exhibit A, in the photo provided.

I usually love going to this location and I’ve never had issues before, but today in the Drive-Thru this man was taking my order and the entire time he was acting like I was bothering him with my order and just so dry and rude. I told him to forget it and left. People forget that the customer pays your check and there are plenty of other places to take your business.

It seems that whenever I go here my food inevitably ends up wrong! This time I had sour cream instead of guacamole and they gave me a squirt of sour cream (see photo)… then told me quac was more expensive so that makes no sense, blamed it on the new girl etc. They also forgot another item completely and I had to drive back to get it. They handed me the 2 missed items and sent me on my way. By the time I got back home neither item was needed or used. It just seems to me that if it is their screw up they should remake the items that were incorrect. But manager did not see it that way. So I had to drive twice for their mess up and my family went without the items just so they could eat while things were still hot. I think the whole establishment could use some extra training

Discovered my order was wrong (missing something I paid for). I went back. He had the nerve to rudely say , “You sure you’re missing it?”
Are you kidding me?
I told him, “Yes, why would I drive back within 60 seconds?” “Would you like to see my receipt and check my bag?”
Called manager…just so maybe she can talk to her employees about courtesy and manners.

Fairly nice place. Only a couple years old. Usual good taco bueno food. Coupons and daily promotions for bueno heads are a plus. Service is rather slow.
