In 1967, we opened our doors in Abilene, TX to share fresh, authentic Mexican food. Now, almost 52 years later, while the other guys have turned to packaged and processed foods, we’ve stayed true to our roots by crafting authentic recipes in each of our kitchens. We do things the Bueno way, and you’re sure to taste the difference.

A first for us. Food was good. Not typical fast food Mexican. Taco salad and chicken platter, both were tasty. Definitely too much food to eat. Salsa was a little spicy but good. Staff were friendly ,restaurant was clean

Tasteless crap, street taco were way too small for the price. Nobody communicate.

This is a regular stop for us when traveling East on I40. Normally it’s pretty decent. It’s typically what you’d expect from a fast food chain. Cheap comfort food. But inexplicably I seem to like. However this last time, I ordered the number one. The Muchaco was very doughy and bland. Not sure what happened but it was awful. The regular beef taco and bean burrito were on par – delicious. Bathrooms aren’t exactly inviting but they were clean. We got our food to go, and there wasn’t a line so no wait. Easy to find from the Highway. Just behind McD’s and before you get to Walmart. Probably will visit again but wasn’t the best stop. Added a googled picture of number 1 to help illustrate. Not mine as it was dark and I don’t take pics whilst driving.

The owner of this establishment should be ashamed! I’d rate this place ZERO stars if I could. They are ripping off customers with tricks on folding burritos which is basically an empty burrito and all tortilla. You’re employees are crooks by telling customers the receipt printer is broke and then lying when they charged me for items I didn’t receive. I know exactly what I ordered and how much taxes are because well…that is what I do for a living.

It’s a hit or miss kinda place. Takes forever in drive thru. Plus side though is they have got all my orders right in the last 3 months. Quesadilla cutting is hard for them
