In 1967, we opened our doors in Abilene, TX to share fresh, authentic Mexican food. Now, almost 52 years later, while the other guys have turned to packaged and processed foods, we’ve stayed true to our roots by crafting authentic recipes in each of our kitchens. We do things the Bueno way, and you’re sure to taste the difference.

A good location wnd always a fantastic drive-thru experience. We ordered party tostadas, the grilled chicken roll up, and a chicken taco salad. We got plenty of salsa, onions, and pico de gallo. The jalapeño ranch is delicious and I love being able to order it a la carte.

This particular location gets a bad rep in social media outlets. Honestly, yes it has gone downhill over the recent years. It could use a good remodel and better customer service. It is pretty slow to receive your order, even with noone else in sight – drive thru and lobby empty. Why? Unsure, never asked.
With all that said – my family still powers through a visit every now and then with reasonable expectations of a warm (never hot), subpar, “quick” meal from here. We have way lowered expectations for decent customer service, though. They seem put out each time we enter the drive-thru.

Ok, I was tired, running on 2.5 hrs of sleep. I had ordered my food 45 minutes ago online and I was ready to go. The line was backed up and they made me come in to get my food, which wasn’t ideal. They’re struggling to keep up. However, the food was great and I know they’re trying to do the best they can, so I thought I’d drop them some love here and say thanks. You’re the best choice in the area, and that’s probably why you’re so busy. Keep up the good work!

Ordered a beef nacho salad got a taco salad. Ordered a mucho tostado got a party tostado. 1 out of 3 things correct and the mucho nachos were side ways so leaked in the bag and were all over the place. Won’t be back!

Got our order, I had gotten this taco salad that is a poor excuse for a taco salad. Almost no lettuce and like to pieces of chicken that may fit in a one ounce cup. Refried beans were asked to be on the bottom and they used it to cover up the lack of chicken. Also we ordered three orders of churros and only got one. My wife ordered the muchaco combo and they didn’t know what goes with it.
