What a bottom of the barrel experience. I haven’t had LJS in a long time, now I know why. The chicken and fish were way too salty. I couldn’t even finish it. The hush puppies were the best part of the meal. When I order my food, the cashier couldn’t speak English. How the hell do you even get a job and can’t speak the language?!? She had to call over the drive through employee to take my order. Absolutely unacceptable. The total came out to $16, which was way too expensive for the garbage that was served. This was my first time at this location and will be my last. I would have been better going to Wendy’s across the street. Lesson learned.

I don’t even know how this can even happen unless I’m the victim of some prank. After going to buy some late night eats for the wife and I, my burrito had a clear plastic lid inside of it!! I’ll definitely be reporting this beyond just a review because finding anything other than food ingredients inside whatever you order especially something like plastic is a safety hazard.

I’ll start by saying the fish was good, and the Baja Blast was great. Now I to the meat (or lack thereof) of the review.

The cantina chicken taco, at $3.49, was an absolute miss. I didn’t taste any chicken in my first bite so I went to investigate, and sure enough there was practically scraps of chicken. Very insulting for the price, when you buy a taco anywhere else it will cost less and come with more meat.

The coleslaw as well, tasted ok, but the portion was ridiculous! I swapped fries for 3 bites of old coleslaw? What an experience, you’d think with a Wendy’s across the street they’d maintain a certain standard, but it feels more like the people in the back would prefer the place close down.

They also do not honor LJS coupons, which is just another layer of absurd, especially when the next closest location is 20+ miles away.

Avoid this location if you can.

99% of the time they’re great. I’ll change this back to a good rating once someone from there see this. You don’t leave people sitting in the drive thru waiting with out acknowledging them. Had to pull through three times and finally knock on the window. And he doesn’t even look just raises his finger at me while looking away. Once I confirmed they were open went back around to drive thru sat for another 7 minutes and left. Never got to order. One till being messed up shouldn’t shut down a restaurant for 20 minutes. You had one customer take my order and fix your shiz afterwards.

This is by far the worst taco bell i’ve ever been to. As a previous employee, restaurants are supposed to toss and make new fries every 15 min. I guarantee you that is not happening here. You are more likely to get struck by lightning then receive fresh nacho fries at this location. Besides that 9/10 orders are made incorrectly, which in return means I have to drive back around or park and enter the store in order to hash it out with the employees to make sure I am getting what I have paid for. It should not be that hard to make sure orders are correct. Of course mistakes happen but when it’s majority of your trips to the local taco bell across the street from my job and almost every order is incorrect it makes you question what’s going on. Most of the employees stay the same and have been there for a long period of time. you would think they wouldn’t be new to this. If the fries aren’t getting replaced in a timely matter as they should be due to health code I can only imagine what’s going on in that kitchen. Even if you’re craving it, even if it’s close by I highly recommend you skip out on this location and venture somewhere else.

How is this worth $7? I get that raising the minimum wage to 50% of what would actually be necessary to live in Hillsboro has probably hurt big corporation’s massive profits, but come on. This is $0.20 worth of chips with $0.30 worth of topping that I just paid $7 for. Never again.

Same Taco Bell food as everywhere else, well one of my entrees was definitely made different and not as good. and the prices are unusually higher than normal…. Maybe they’re just higher in the upscale part of town?

The only taco bell that doesn’t mess up my orders and customizations. As someone who worked at taco bell and has been wronged often, this is the only location I trust! Always fresh when we get it, love this location!

I never write reviews, but this is the 2nd time this month I’ve been burned by this Taco Bell location’s sorry excuse for quesadilla portions. Looking through past reviews this appears to be a common theme.

Pack of Smuckers for scale.

My guess is local management is trying to skimp and squeeze out an extra dime. Weak sauce!!

I came to this Taco Bell location on my lunch break with a friend and I ordered a meal with chips and cheese on the side as I’m pulling off I see there is no chips I turn around and tell the male manager that worked on the 19th of February around 10:55 he proceeds to tell us we did not pay for chips “you only said cheese” I’m like no I said chips and cheese can I please pay for chips he looks at me and me my friend and says no because u didn’t pay for it we are like that’s why we are asking to pay and he shuts the window walks away comes back and tells me it’s a 1.69 for chips I’m like okay can we please pay for our chips he finally lets us pay I see him grab chips throw it in a bag and hand it to me we are recording at this point and we ask can we please get his name he looks at us and slams the window in our face…….I’m not sure if it was discrimination or he just felt he can treat us that way but if an employee continues to work at a place after treating the costumers this way I wonder how the company treats its employees for them to feel it’s okay to treat customers this way am I not looked at as a customer like everyone else that comes to this business it’s sad it took me this long to write a review about this it’s truly sad how people treat u I would give no stars if possible there is a reason this place does not have great reviews.
