Every time I PAY for extras, I never get it. It’s like the workers here read extra as none or less, I swear. I wish I were exaggerating, but this happens every time.

This Taco Bell is absolutely terrible. One they don’t take orders very well. They’re very impatient and very rude at the drive-through. Also, the manager refused to serve me because somebody was screaming vulgarity at me behind me in the back of the Line ✏️, so I said something back to them, and because I was the one who decided to say something back to the person screaming vulgarity at me, and I explained that to the manager. She’s still decided not to serve me, so I drove off, and when I drove off, she had a very rude Way of saying goodbye to me. The way that she said it made it seem like I was a terrible person. When in reality, the person screaming behind me, was a terrible person, and she made herself seem like a very terrible person for not hearing my side of the storyalso management, you need to find a better manager. Whoever that lady was yeah, I need to figure it out. This was at 8:15 pm on 12/5/2025. Because of that interaction. I will never be coming back to this Taco Bell and I will be letting everybody know about this situation and I will not let any business go to you anymore until I receive an apology from that manager. I hate to be a Karen. I never leave bad reviews, if anything, I Always, Only leave positive Reviews, but this situation infuriated me. I hope this never happens to anybody else due to somebody else’s ignorance. I got refuse service and this is terrible all because I defended myself. I have the right to do that as an American. Thank you.

I have continually been disappointed by the terrible food quality at Taco Bell Defy in Brooklyn Park. Even with two prior experiences with the taco shells being completely cracked, my wife and I gave them another chance last weekend.
Upon returning home just 5 minutes after picking up our dinner, we unwrapped the hard & soft shell tacos, revealing that they were all wet. This was likely from either sitting too long or too much moisture in whatever containers they use to store their shells.
Regardless, as you can see in the photo I included in my review, the hard shell tacos were so moist, that the shells were completely broken across the bottom. There’s no way to eat something like this cleanly, so I had to eat them like pizza. It was a total mess and very disappointing.
Keep in mind, I’m a HUGE taco fan and will eat tacos from anywhere. Even mediocre tacos are fine by me, but this is just unacceptable. We normally pick up from the other Taco Bell in Brooklyn Park and have never had such consistent problems with their food quality as we’ve had with Taco Bell Defy.
I’ve submitted feedback to Corporate but haven’t received a response. Don’t let the novelty of this new Taco Bell concept fool you… let my repeated experiences serve as a warning to find another location the next time you’re craving tacos.

Trust the reviews on here…wanted to give them a chance but I can see why people give the low ratings. The drive thru process is confusing. After scanning the QR code it kept saying no order found so had to pull around to a live person. After waiting 10 minutes and finally getting the order…Items were missing and food was cold. Will go to a regular Taco Bell that’s further than come back here.

Tried the new nuggets and this is what I received… they are dry and hard. Looks like the have been sitting under a heat lamp far too long.

This place always forgets to give me hot sauce in my order. It’s like they dont even read the online order. Also the help button on the lanes dont even work. Either that or the workers dont care. Best go somewhere else and let these lazy people be out of a job.

It is usually great! But last night we ordered and the Employee on the drive thru was less than friendly.
And after we received our order, we checked our back. Mind you it hasn’t even been a minute and the girl is saying something to me while my window is closed. I open my window and she says there are other people in line. To which I say, it don’t matter. We are checking our bag. She keep talking about I roll up my window. My wife thinks the bag is ok.
I drive away and a couple blocks away she realizes that she didn’t see the cinnabon delights in the bag.
We go back and the girl is somewhat nice until we get to the window again. When we pull up she doesn’t say a word and hands us our missing Cinnabon delights without saying a word. Then goes back leaning against the counter playing with her phone.

Every time I place an order in the app they miss something. Sides, sauce, you name it. Getting help at the faceless kiosk is a joke also. Y’all, it’s not that hard. I’ve worked food service and no it’s not glamorous but it’s also not complicated. At least the guy manning the actual drive thru was nice and helped me because hitting the ‘help’ button at the station did absolutely nothing.

Taco Bell Defy! It’s still Taco Bell, so you are likely familiar with their food. It’s basically like a bank drive through, but with food. The tacos and burritos at this location were stuffed full and were definitely fresh which was great. The Nachos BellGrande were a little bit light on beef, but it was nice that there wasn’t too much cheese so the chips stayed crunchy. This is a new concept store and it just opened this week, so it was extremely busy. This made the wait fairly long, but it was understandable since they just opened. I’m sure things will improve over time.

Given its location, you’d expect this place to be nice, but the reviews are accurate. I ordered food and they forgot some items, which is inexcusable considering they weren’t busy, especially since I visited after 9pm. To make matters worse, my food had a big hole in it. They need to improve their service. I’ll be avoiding this location and opting for authentic tacos from people who know what they’re doing.
