Today, I arrived at the Taco Bell and purchased food with the goal of using a restroom. But one was occupied, and proceeded to be occupied for the next half-hour.
A line formed of people needing this bathroom, and both paying customers and employees wanted us to use this other bathroom, but management would not allow for it.
I’m not mad at the lady in the locked bathroom. She sounded like she was scrubbing away and taking a bath in there, who knows what unfortunate thing happened… But this is why we have two bathrooms. One man had the unfortunate issue of finally defecating himself and had to flee. This customer service was extremely unacceptable, it’s unsanitary, and it is inhumane. You don’t get to have executive bathrooms behind ivory towers here. You just don’t want to clean two in case someone who goes there is less than kind.
But that’s your job. I know because I worked this Taco Bell job for years.
They also got my order wrong (I very specifically and carefully chose two cheesy double-beef burritos using their machine), but they wouldn’t refund or replace. I’m not entirely sure the mishap was their mistake, the machine seemed to glitch out, and maybe this is just what we get for using these machines now rather than people, but refusing to replace is wild. They’re comparable prices and I’d pay any difference.
Even after this incident, when I tried to address it calmly with the manager afterward, she refused to provide any accountability—refusing even a corporate contact and eventually hanging up on me. This series of actions—disbelief, public confrontation, and lack of professionalism—was completely out of line. Thankfully, I’ve escalated this to corporate, who will investigate with the camera footage. I expect a resolution and hope no other customer will be subjected to such treatment.

Went to the store since they never got back to me as they told corporate they did and they refused to help me. Couple of them were rude. Told me I should have called (I did many times never an answer) then when I said I did I have call logs she said ” the phone no work” , yeah you think. Worst TB ever. I will NEVER RETURN. RIP OFF AND SCREW UPS.
