The Legend is Back: Double Decker Taco Review
I was absolutely thrilled to see the Double Decker Taco make its limited-time return to Taco Bell’s menu. This is pure nostalgia in a sleeve!
The brilliance of the Double Decker is the texture contrast—you get the immediate, familiar crunch of the hard shell (with seasoned beef, lettuce, and cheese inside), immediately followed by the soft, pillowy chew of the flour tortilla, held together by that layer of warm, savory refried beans. The beans act as the perfect “glue,” binding the two shells together and adding a comforting, earthy flavor to the whole experience.
It successfully combines the best parts of a soft taco and a crunchy taco into one handheld item. While simple, it’s a brilliant item that deserves to be a permanent fixture! If you grew up eating this, it’s a must-have trip down memory lane. If you’ve never had one, grab it before it’s gone—it’s the perfect blend of soft and crunch.

This particular restaurant seems to have good staff then get bad staff. Food was undercooked especially the chicken and here comes the beautiful part….there was a bed bug in the food. Yeah we’re done here guys time to clear out and support other taco bells This is a first ever and now I’m kinda scarred of Taco Bell. We showed them about it and was talked down to in a very disrespectful manner claiming we put it in the food. They talked to us in a offensive state like when you corner a cat or caught a child in a act.

I placed an order online, very simple but it took some time. Lot of employees but also mostly just standing around talking. I waited and waited for my drink since I guess each employee has their own specific task. The tables were all dirty and had to wipe down a spot to sit.

I just left out their drive through, I placed a pretty big order and couldn’t go through every container in the car. I make it home and they forgot items and all 3 sodas were nasty carbonated water! I called instantly, not even 5 minutes from leaving, the lady that took my order realized who i was and even read me back order, then said oh yeah you just left, she puts me on hold and a Hispanic lady comes on the line and I couldn’t understand her with her accent. She started being rude, like I did something wrong by wanting what i paid for, and she hung up on me!! I called back 3 times and no answer. So now they’re blatantly taking our money and couldnt care less about the consumer or the quality of service. The staff at this location is HORRIBLE! DO BETTER TACO BELL!!!!

Horrible customer service from the staff to the want to be manager Ericka. Went thru the drive thru and sat there for those 10 minutes after I paid. the cashier keep passing by the window looking at me but not bringing my order. I went around parked and went inside and ask for a manger and one of the associates said she busy but I will get her!!! (That should have been yes mama I will get the manager.) Well when Erika came out
(looking mad that she had to come out to help!!!) to the counter, she just looked at me not saying anything ( LIKE HOW CAN I HELP YOU MAMA) so I had to say I would like a refund she never opened her mouth she just walked over to a resister and gave me a receipt with the refund NOT asking what happed or anything. NOW I SEE WHTY THE SATFF IS THE WAY THEY ARE RUDE!!! BECAUSE IF YOUR WANT TI BE MANAGER IS RUDE AND DIREPECTFUL WHAT, DO YOU THINK THE SATFF IS GOING TO DO.

Terrible staff! Tried to order on the kiosk, payment failed, said to go to the counter. I stood at the counter for about 5 mins with my wallet and card in hand, clearly displaying that I was ready to mach a purchase. The staff completely ignored me. They all looked at me at different points, but never once was I acknowledged by anyone. So I left.

I ordered 2 Doritos locos tacos supreme and a beefy 5 layer burrito, all three with extra sour cream. The prices are already crazy nowadays, but adding extra sour cream was 75¢ extra a piece. I don’t think I even got the standard amount of sour cream, let alone the extra I paid for.. This is not the first time either. I gave it three stars for the rather speedy service, but speed doesn’t matter when it comes to the order not being right.

Well what can I say, it’s Taco Bell food so you know the quality of it. This Taco Bell does the weirdest thing on the evening/night drive thou, they will do one customer order at a time. I been a few time to this location and about every time. The Taco Bell does this method where I am guessing trying their time down. The line can fill the parking lot and possibly reach the cause traffic on the street. You can be in line for a long time on a side note.

Went there at night after work and I ordered a nacho belgrandre and paid for extra beef and cheese. When I placed the order I asked could they please put beef on the top and bottom and she said yes for extra charge. I said that’s fine. When I checked my order it was only on the top and nothing on the bottom but beans.. no beef. So I said there’s no extra beef or cheese on the bottom. The cashier was rude and told me me that I was not at home making nachos and this is Taco Bell. We only put it on the top . Kept the money and the food. This establishment needs to have a whole new crew because they treat their customers with disrespect.
