Absolutely Disgusting Experience – DO BETTER, Taco Bell.
I came in to place a simple order: a Mexican Pizza, veggie only with light sauce, and the new Mountain Dew drink. What I got was nothing short of offensive, careless, and downright disrespectful.
First, the drink. I walked up to the counter, and the employee handed me the wrong one. I politely told him that’s not what I ordered, and instead of correcting the mistake, he kept pushing it on me—literally trying to force me to accept something I didn’t order. I had to firmly say NO and request a refund before he even started to take me seriously. Strike one.
Then I get my food and discover MEAT in it. Not just a mistake—beef. I do not eat beef for religious reasons, which I clearly stated in my order. I walked back inside to show them the issue, and I was met with smirks, laughter, and complete lack of care from the staff. It felt intentional, like they were mocking me. This isn’t just a bad order—this is tampering with someone’s beliefs, and that is NOT okay.
When I asked for a refund, they told me no because I had taken a bite. Excuse me? You served me the wrong item, with ingredients I explicitly cannot eat, and now you won’t refund me because I had to taste the mistake to even know it was wrong?
And the final blow? One of the employees smiled and said, “God will forgive you.”
I’m sorry, WHAT?! You mess with my religion, you laugh about it, and then you think throwing a religious one-liner makes it better? This isn’t just appalling customer service—this is grounds for a lawsuit.
Taco Bell, you need to take accountability. You messed with someone’s dietary restrictions, laughed in their face, denied a refund, and then added insult to injury with a condescending remark.
This is unacceptable on every possible level.
The burrito was still frozen on the inside it is 625 pm now. I’m too tired after work to return the food first time I’ve been to this location in months maybe years, I lost count. Very angry this time. Forgot to mention that the churros had small unchewable “rocks” in them. The restaurant was clean at least.
