If I could give negative stars I 100% would. Ordered for pickup online and didn’t know the lobby was closed or that it was drive thru only (there was nothing informing me at all and online said open til 3) so I go to get my food and realize it’s not optional so I go to the drive up window (walking from across the street where I was staying) to ask him if it was possible to get it like that and he went to ask a manager and turns out it’s against policy (that’s fine- we have a car I had just already walked over there so wanted to see if it was a possibility to not have to double back with the car) but as he told me it’s against policy I go to say “no problem, we can just come back in five minutes with the car” and before I even get the first word out of my mouth he cuts me off to snarkily say “I don’t know what to tell you lady, like i said can’t do it, request a refund, that’s that” and then slams the slider door shut in my face without even the slightest clue that I was simply letting him know we’d be back and going to thank him for letting us know instead of just ignoring us anyways but at that point I’d have preferred he simply ignore us over speaking to me in that way. It’s shocking to me that these are the type of people Taco Bell hires on and wants to be the face of their company and business. Gross. Dude needed an attitude adjustment and better ways too manage his bad moods, clearly.

Finally going to give a rating after several years. Always awkward service at best. I periodically return because of convenient location and the small hope that it could at least become okay, so I suppose that’s on me. Food is usually decent though.
As an introvert and someone who hates small talk, I get not a wanting to talk to people wholeheartedly. However, some minimal communication is needed to indicate anything from one human to another. I’m hoping the folks there are able to move on and find jobs they don’t absolutely hate, because the level of burnout there out is palpable.
If you read this and still feel the need to go there for whatever reason, I suggest the drive thru because they at least sort of have to respond in one or two words that they acknowledge your existence.
Looking forward to Taco John’s starting across the street from them in 2026!

Stopped here on Monday on my way home from work. Was craving some food and wanted to try the new Mountian Dew.
I was definitely not disappointed. The food was delicious, and the new flavor was beyond my expectations.
I have a love/hate with their menu. They bring all sorts of new stuff out throughout the year… but by the time I fall in love with something… they stop having it on the menu. But that just inspires me to try something new.
Taco Bell is by far my favorite fast food chain… my game tag for PlayStation would defintiely allude to that!

We ordered four tacos. When we opened them at home there were only three tacos in the bag and barely any meat or toppings in these tacos. Previous tacos from this same location have been fine. I called the South University store and explained the situation. The manager admitted she filled these tacos. I inquired why there was so little food in these tacos and she hung up on me. Very rude. We will not go there again. We weren’t even given a receipt.

I don’t know if this is a thing with every Tacobell. Extremely slow service, however THEY DID get my order right and it tasted good. I waited almost an hour for my food. Still better than Grand Forks.

Food tasted great and I was through the entire line in less than 3 minutes.
It’s too bad that the employee hiding in the window with a headset on feels comfortable enough to mock a customer for saying thank you. Just shows you can be as pleasant of a customer as possible with as little interaction as possible and still be mocked.
Hope whatever is happening in that employees personal life gets better, nobody should have to deal with something like that for literally no reason.

It’s Taco Bell you like it or you don’t. Pretty sure this was Fargos 1st Taco Bell. Still the best one, guys working here are super nice and they jump on orders immediately.

Food is okay, the nacho fries are what me and my family go for (and chalupas) but the food makes people sick so often it’s hard to want this often, prices are getting out of hand, staff are very rude or just plain lazy and gross on a regular basis, and it’s more often than not you’re getting bad service for mediocre food at a bad price.
had ordered a small snack for me and the family and when it arrived the cinnabon delights tasted like green bell pepper, it was absolutely foul. they couldn’t be bothered to actually fill the fries either. i used rewards for a free soda but we are extremely disappointed and really grossed out. with these prices, they could have at least filled the fries especially if they’re going to have they’re desserts marinating in peppers. the fries were also frozen in the middle. taco bell is generally becoming worse and worse over time and it’s clear their employees are high out of their minds and aren’t being efficient at all or care about their performance.

If i had a choice to give zero stars i would. Night crew suck and they don’t care how they give you your food. My food was supposed to have been in boxes but it wasn’t they threw everything in one bag and on top of that they had boxes. They are lazy and need to be fired. Everytime I come to this place nothing is correct. My chalupa bread was hard as a damn Rock and food was cold. I will not be coming back to this place ever again.

We stopped at this Taco Bell for supper before an evening event. Most things were good overall, but we had to ask for different chips for the nachos because the chips we received were like the crumbs from the bottom of the bag. The service was very prompt. The not so great thing was the young female Taco Bell worker on break or something sitting at a table video chatting on her phone very loudly…like nobody else was there. It wasn’t always the most appropriate conversation or language either. We sat on the opposite side of the lobby. Overall it was an OK experience.
