I am trucker who was here today. I bought two veggie power bowls and unfortunately didnt see the food while getting it there and now when it was time to eat after end of the day i realized they just put one bowl’s food into two. Iowa 80 Truck Stop is always worth a stop when you’re traveling through. Stretch your legs, explore the offerings. We were in a hurry this time and tried the Taco Bell. You order at a kiosk in the center of the food court and then wait for your food at the counter.
I ordered the Doritos tacos and they were the saddest tacos ever. Each one had a crumbling shell with a barely noticeable smidgen of meat. Her burrito was slightly better, but not by much.
What little interaction we had with the staff wasn’t impressive either. They didn’t seem happy to be there.
One and a half stars, rounded down because the more I think about those tacos the more disappointed I get.

Food was what you’d expect. Cashier was patient with a few changes. But the cooks did not get the order right, when you sub for chicken and pay extra for it, you kind of expect it. Quesadilla wasn’t even cut through.

Iowa-80 is always a good road trip stopping point and Taco Bell is definitely the best food within it.
That being said, it almost always has a decent wait time. The food is usually pretty fresh, however told my Doritos loco shell was old and not good.
The other issue I have with this location is the outrageous prices. The online exclusive Cravings Box is $16.50 here! Two years ago it was $5, now most TB’s are around $10. But $16.50? Yeesh!

The ladies working at the Taco Bell Truck Stop on I80 had the worst attitudes I’ve encountered in a long time. Service was slow and the food wasn’t great. Wouldn’t recommend. However, the truck stop itself is great but everything is Way overpriced.

Do not stop here or get food from here. There’s several other restaurants in that truckstop go to one of them. I’m a truck driver. I stopped here. I got three breakfast burritos. The sausage was all one big hard chunk. The people that work here are lazy and obviously don’t know how to break up sausage like it’s supposed to be done. I didn’t pay $10 for three burritos for them to be crappy and may not be able to get my money back cause I’m already up the road I can’t do anything about it so I warn you all do not go here

This is the only taco bell in the US I will eat at. I use the mobile app in the parking lot, my order is ready when I walk in, and my order is always right. Best of all I’ve never been ill after eating here. *IF* this place sucked, Iowa 80 would have another restaurant in its place in less than 30 days. Thousands of people eat here daily and are too busy to leave a good review – shameful.
