Food was ok and the restaurant was ok.
For the last 5 years, this store has repeatedly been out of diet/zero fountain options, especially Mountain Dew Baja Blast Zero. This isn’t a one-off: I’ve stopped in on random days and months over that time, and I’d estimate 70%+ of visits you’re out of Baja Blast Zero and/or most diet soda options.
Today the soda machine literally had only Pepsi and regular Mountain Dew. Everything else was out — root beer, Diet Pepsi, Mountain Dew Zero, Baja Blast Zero, etc. When I ask, the answer is always just “we’re out.” Today I specifically asked why it’s such a common issue at this store and was told, “we’re just out.”
I work with restaurants and have industry experience—keeping fountain syrup stocked is basic inventory management. When a store misses basics this consistently, it raises a fair concern about whether other routines that require attention to detail—like fountain cleaning schedules and food-safety checklists—are being followed as reliably as they should be.
I used to let it slide, but at $11+ per combo the expectations are different. The main reason I come to Taco Bell is for a Baja Blast Zero—and when you don’t have it this consistently, I’m done with this location. At that point it’s simpler to go to Taco John’s and get better food.
Owners/management: what is going on at this location, and what are you doing to fix it? On top of the ongoing inventory issues, the staff is dismissive of customer concerns and acts like none of it matters. During my visit today the store was essentially empty, yet multiple employees were sitting on their phones instead of addressing basic issues.
Also: the heat was probably set to 60 degrees today, or not working at all, everyone was freezing inside the dining room.
Between the chronic stockouts, the attitude, and basic facility upkeep, this location is incredibly poorly managed. The dining room was freezing—on a day it was 24° outside, it felt like the heat was barely on (if it was even set above ~60). That’s a red flag that core maintenance and day-to-day operations are being neglected, and management needs to get back to basics.
If I owned this store, I’d be embarrassed by the customer experience and the lack of operational discipline.
I appreciate how the team made things right and kept it friendly. Mistakes happen, but good customer service makes all the difference.
I understand that what i ordered means work for you to do.
I understand you’re probably tired, from like/work/your problems.
But that doesn’t give you the excuse to act like a rude person. You signed up for the job you chose. You knew what you were gonna do when you clocked in. It doesn’t give you the excuse to act like a rude person.
Please learn to be better…
