I was so excited when I found out a Taco Bell was coming to this little town in the middle of nowhere. Fast food options are… well there aren’t really options. We have McDees, Mom and Pop places that close early, or Subway if you’re feeling brave. So this girl was super excited, it’s the small things!
Unfortunately, this location is a total nightmare. But yes, I keep coming back because Taco Bell is life blood, even when it’s awful.
First and foremost, your order is going to be wrong. Especially if you modify the items. Sometimes, it’s something small. But more often than not, an item(s) is made wrong or forgotten completely. On really wild nights, my partner comes home with an entirely different order. Which isn’t fun, because I am picky.
I will sometimes use the app to try to get them to make up for the wrong order, seldom do I call in. More often than not, my complaints through the app go ignored. Which seems like them trying to make a problem disappear by pretending it never happened, which usually works because I just give up on waiting for a response.
I suppose I hit my limit since I am now writing a Google review, but I suppose if people are going to look into where to eat, at least they will be aware that there is a very high chance for disappointment.
I honestly have no idea what is going on in this town. But it is home to the worst fast food places I have ever dealt with. The employees need to work on double or even triple checking orders before they go out the window, it’s complete madness. After a while you start losing sanity and wonder if it’s just you. But checking out the other reviews I no longer feel so alone.

They ARE Open!! Opened today 3/8/24 for dinner.
Drive thru was quick. Food was made accurately. Temperature was right. The staff was nice & friendly. No complaints on this visit. Everything went well.
Even got an opening day mug. Very cool!

This was my first visit to this location, i ordered loaded beef nachos, the staff was friendly, and semi professional. I give them a 4/5 for that but everyone there seemed like they were new the way they worked. The service was very slow, over a 15 minute wait for one item.. 1/5. The lobby i give about 3/5. I only saw 4 workers during a lunch rush, i think they need help. The food was correct and great, 5/5. They seemed to prioritize the drive through over completing orders as they came. Maybe hire or schedule more staff members and this place could turn around to a 5 star. If you don’t mind waiting forever to get your food then this place is for you.

We went through the drive and when we got home, we were missing our cinnamon twists, our taco supremes were missing the supreme. We didn’t call or go back because it was not worth it, but next time before we pull away we will be checking the order for accuracy. Next time we are there we will mention this and show our receipt and see how they resolve it.

How come I can get a caramel apple empanada in Sandusky MI but not in Croswell MI? Very disappointing. Also, never order inside at this location. Drive thru takes priority and will extend your wait time.

There is always TOO MUCH salt on your chips. I always think it will be better next time, maybe someone else complained and it was fixed but it’s always the same. Would be great if you eased up on the salt. It literally burns my mouth there is so much.

Waited at the counter for 11 minutes no one waited on me. I had 2 employees look at me. One brought food to the front counter. No one greeted me. Asked me to wait. I was completely ignored.

I get a double beef burrito with no sour cream every once and awhile and I get it with NO SOUR CREAM. No surprise that they put sour cream on it 4/5 times. Someone in the kitchen needs to be fired immediately!
