I love taco bell and was so bothered.
Used the app and picked up at the drive thru. Food was ready quickly, nice and hot, order 100% and they were very nice. I’d go here again if I was in the area, not nearly as busy as the one just up the street.
Also while I was waiting for someone to ask me if I needed any help, there were multiple other issues going on with other customers, I even heard a young lady with her child cussing under her breath because they got most of their order wrong after also waiting a good amount of time. I don’t know what the problem was for them today but it’s just bizarre to me.
The food is hot and fresh! The service is fast ! The people are on the ball and go the extra mile to please the customers! Their equipment is always working! I don’t live in Avon but we go there about every other day to get the afternoon treats and enjoy our day!
I had an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience here. I placed a mobile order for two Crunchwrap Supreme combos and a Taco Party Pack. I accidentally selected a regular -size Baja Blast Freeze instead of the large fountain Baja Blast that’s actually included at no extra charge with the combo. This was because the app picture looks a lot like the fountain drink and not the freeze . This was my fault and I acknowledge that. The Freeze adds $0.70—so I paid more. .
At the window, i encountered a white male wearing glasses tall guy. And Hispanic guy. Hispanic guy was making the food and white guy was working the window . I kindly asked if we could switch it to the fountain Baja blast since I accidentally selected a freeze. The employee looked annoyed and didn’t respond—just shut the window and brought back a small Baja Blast. No acknowledgment, no effort to make it right. At this point I was like really ? But I said you know what it was my fault so I’ll take it and just drink something at home…
I had to stop and check the food after I left the window …
When I checked the combo meals, both tacos were incorrect. I had ordered a Doritos Locos Taco Supreme and a Crunchy Taco Supreme, both of which cost extra, but I received plain hard shell tacos instead.
So I went inside and respectfully explained the issue again, about the drink if he could please give me a large instead of this small little fountain Baja blast because I mean I already had to come back inside to get my order fixed with the wrong two tacos … I even showing my receipt and the price breakdown. The same employee asked, “Are you willing to pay the difference?”—even though I had already paid more for the Freeze than the large drink would have cost. He seemed completely uninterested in helping or understanding, just stared blankly and acted bothered that I dared to speak up.
Then, after I explained that both combo tacos were incorrect, his response was: “So what do you need or want?” At that point, I couldn’t believe how dismissive and combative the interaction had become. I remained calm and respectful through the whole ordeal—yet was treated as if I was trying to game the system, when all I wanted was the correct items I paid for.
Watching the employee angrily toss the Freeze in the trash while another laughed and mumbled with him behind the counter was insulting (he was talking with the Hispanic guy in-front of me) while he smirked and I know was talking bad about me . I paid over $40 and got poor service, incorrect items, and zero accountability.
This location seriously needs retraining on basic customer service, respect, and how their own mobile menu pricing works.
