I recently visited Taco Bell and decided to treat myself to a steak quesadilla. Imagine my surprise when I opened it to find a game of “Where’s Waldo?” but with steak. Spoiler alert: Waldo was easier to find! It was like Taco Bell had employed a minimalist artist to design my meal.
On the bright side, the restaurant was spotless. I guess they had plenty of time for cleaning since they weren’t busy cooking steak. The staff was friendly too; perhaps they felt sorry for me and my empty quesadilla.
In summary, if you’re looking for a tortilla with a hint of steak essence, Taco Bell’s steak quesadilla is your new best friend. For actual steak, maybe try somewhere else. But hey, at least the place is clean!

Good and service were good. Got my food quickly and food was made with generous amounts. The seating area is a little small and felt a little crowded to me, otherwise, all good.

I had the best experience here today. I don’t know if I’ve ever had better customer service anywhere in my life. 10/10 recommend

Cozy, dainty spot; nicely positioned for the truckers, cargo community of transport workers. Also they carry the avocado ranch sauce.

They had everything closed when I could clearly see that you had people inside working, the front door was locked and the drive thru was chained up, it was only 8 45

This is the Best Taco Bell we have eaten at in a very long time. The loaded beef nachos were so good and the cheesy double beef burritos were so good as well . Keep up the good work here you guys are doing an amazing job.

Did an app order while driving back up to Indiana. We arrived just before the food was supposed to be finished. While waiting outside we saw a man with his phone out go in and walk out with what appeared to be our exact order based on the drinks and boxes. Walked in to find out he acted like a door dash pickup and stole our food. Employees were so fast to replace the order and apologize the whole time even though it wasn’t their fault. Good team and thanks for getting us back on the road quickly.

I’d give lower if I could. The staff at this location has a serious problem with not wanting to do their jobs properly. They talk in a demeaning tone towards customers from my household, and wouldn’t make a taco salad for one of my roomates who cant eat certain things such as bread products, but made one for another one of my roommates within a half hour prior. 2 managers on shift, none of whom want to do anything. Not only that, but they served me half rotten lettuce within my purchase a week ago, from a combo box. I got my money back. This is getting out of hand. New management and employees are urgently needed, or an attitude adjustment. Never spending a penny here at the smiths grove location again!

When they’re actually open, they are a good Taco Bell. They can’t seem to honor their hours any more though. Before the truck stop became a TA, they were only open until 10:00. which is right about the time most truck drivers need to get dinner. After the truck stop became a TA they said they announced they would stay open until midnight. Well that didn’t last long because only 5 weeks later and they’re back to being closed at 10 PM along with every other fast food joint at this exit. If you’re going to close early, update your hours on Google. They probably just aren’t paying their staff enough to keep anyone working here so they can keep it open for any reasonable amount of time. Do better on hours and maybe I’ll be able to come eat there. Truck drivers are your primary customer so it’s probably a good idea to accommodate their needs.
