One of the most interesting Taco Bells I’ve ever been to! I saw this one opened not that long ago and decided to go check it out with my sister. We kinda expected a Taco Bell with an indoor dining area, but found out this one is nothing like that! It is drive-thru focused but has a walk-up ordering window with the kiosks. There is also a pickup window that is inside a small room with two more ordering kiosks in there (kinda claustrophobic in there). To top it off, there are a few tables out front that are underneath an overhang with music hits playing through the speakers overhead. We ordered at a kiosk but had trouble taking the card so we had them scan it at the window and it worked.
The food seemed fine and we seemed to get what we wanted. The staff seemed still new to their job but they were friendly! Seems odd to have an outdoor Taco Bell in TN where there would be a lot of wet weather. They should definitely open more of these in my old home state of CA! At the same time, it is kinda nice to have a secondary Taco Bell in Ooltewah for those traveling through on I-75 and want to avoid the congestion on Lee Hwy near the other Taco Bell by Walmart

Taco Bell is one of my absolute favorite fast food all-time restaurants! The Taco Bell off of Lee Highway is always absolutely disappointing, so when I found out there was a new one opening up right down the street from us here in Ooltewah, I was super excited, hoping to get better results from the quality of food! First off definitely have to say that my husband stated that the kid that was working through the drive-through is absolutely professional and nice and hard-working! However These aren’t even tacos. They were all crushed Hardly anything in it, and 1 was supposed to be a taco supreme, which would have tomatoes on it too, completely not made right and missing. My husband was also missing his chips that were supposed to go with the cheese for those boxed meals!
On top of that, we ordered burritos and 2 that would have no onions on it! None of them were marked “no onions” on the wrapper, so we had to open up and unroll the burritos just to see which one didn’t have onions! Same with my husband‘s beefy burrito, was not marked as a beefy burrito! The absolute disappointment on a brand new Taco Bell that just opened up definitely has me to the point where I’m not going to be going there anytime soon! Taco Bell, you need to do better and train the employees on the food line. We are not getting what we pay for and we’re getting nothing but garbage it’s very disappointing. With the price of inflation and how much we pay for a taco now we should get what belongs in our tacos!

Shoutout to the guy working the counter, absolute legend. Polite, cheerful, probably the only man in history who could hand me a bag of sadness with a smile and make me say “thank you.” Every time I order from Taco Bell, I feel like my tacos just survived a bar fight. They’re always crushed like someone sat on them while contemplating life, and the filling? Let’s just say I’ve seen more chicken in a tofu commercial. It’s like the taco shell is the star of the show and the meat is a special guest that decided not to show up.
Still gave one star because the Baja Blast is the only thing holding my relationship with Taco Bell together. I keep going back. Not for the food, but for the experience. And the guy who deserves a raise for handing me disappointment wrapped in paper with such grace.

After 3 or 4 attempts to get drive through attendant to hear me, I had to raise my voice each time. The manager “Mario” told me not to raise my voice! I told him at the window that was the only way I could get him to hear me. He continued to argue with me about my attempt to get him to hear. I felt like I was disciplined by Mario! Not to mention the two things I ordered weren’t correct! MY LAST TRIP TO THIS TACO BELL!!!

Having this 2nd Taco Bell in Ooltewah (the 1st location is literally visible from the drive thru) doesn’t really make much sense to me, but I’m also not mad about it. The drive thru is usually pretty quick here, and the employees I’ve interacted with have all been polite and friendly. Aside from 1 hard shell taco at the bottom of the bag getting crushed under the rest of my order, I have no complaints with this location.

Horrible idea for a store. THERE IS NO DINING ROOM.. It’s hard for people to understand what to do. Been there multiple times and people are always confused. You have to wait a while to get their attention if you need to pick up your order, have questions, and access to the restrooms. Great location if you ONLY do drive thru. Send this one back to California. This is Tennessee.

Don’t bother asking for help here. “We have nothing to do with the app” when some orders are app exclusive and was just charged $40 for a meal that didn’t go through to the app. “We can’t do anything about it” Didn’t even try to make the order, rude at the window, and continued to repeat themselves without getting a manager or higher up. Save time and go to the other location, way more helpful.
