It seems as though every since this Taco Bell moved across the street to this nice new location, every time I go there it is something different this time and the last time I was there they were both out of Dr Pepper this time I asked why and I was told that it’s because nobody drinks the Dr Pepper. There is why they don’t keep it that much in stock. I was like well that seems kind of weird. The store was not very clean. Tables had food on them. The drink counter had not been attended to in a minute and the staff was hard to find it, took them a few minutes to get to the front, and then they seemed kind of irritated that we were standing there ready to place our order, then when I asked for Dr. Pepper, they had to go look it took them a few minutes to get tea from behind the counter that was not out on the front counter. It was behind the counter and it seems as though they had time to piddle and play with their friends at the front counter, but not clean the restaurant for the guest to enjoy their stay however, the time that I was there before the food was just a mess and fell apart in my hand and was just atrocious, this time, the food was much better and neatly packaged with the exception of being out of the Dr Pepper and the cleanliness of the restaurant. I am surprised that this store is slow as it is every time I go in there is still open.

Taco Bell is what I would consider fast food Mexican… ish. I needed to stop somewhere quick for a bite of lunch and stopped in. This is the brand new Taco Bell on Valleydale Rd. The restaurant was exceptionally clean and well appointed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I ordered #10 which consists of two beef tacos and a cheese and steak burrito. The tacos were delicious with a crunchy hard shell, some Mexican flavored beef, sour cream, lettuce and grated cheese. This was the best part of the meal. The burrito was just okay. The melted cheese inside was a processed product like Velveeta or something – not so good. There was some beef in there and what appeared to be, maybe, some artificial bacon pieces?? I didn’t finish the burrito and probably won’t order that again if I ever go back.

Well let’s talk about this taco smells. Ever since they changed locations into this nice fancy building, nothing has been “fancy” with their service or f I am pretty confident that my order has been incorrect every time I have placed an order at this location. Here’s the kicker….the place has been a ghost town when I’ve been there the last few times. Employee turnover seems to be a challenging issue for this store. And the crews just can’t seem to get the right amount or accuracy into the bag. If there are no cars in the drive thru and literally not a soul in the dining area, then the orders should be accurate and timely. Come on semi-brand new Taco Bell. Does VP Richie Rich know how much of a mistake it was to move into this stand alone building and all the inaccuracies that came with it?

Usually when I come to this location the food taste fresh and delicious. Today, I ordered a chicken cantina bowl. The rice tasted hard almost old, I didn’t get my extras that I paid for and the bowl itself was awful. I didn’t bring it back because I didn’t have time and why.

I have to believe that the bad reviews for this location are negative confirmation bias. In other words, no one is going to take the time to review a Taco Bell location unless they had a bad experience.
I’m here to tell you that this TB is consistently great. The portions are typical and often generous, and the staff are extremely efficient and professional. In my mind, this location is perfect.
