The dining room is open. They are severely understaffed. We had to use the kiosk to order inside. It was surprisingly smooth and easy. I could add ingredients or go back and change the order. Nice. It was very busy.

This has got to be the best experience I have had in a long time at a Taco Bell. The staff was wonderful. They had kiosk only ordering but the service was unbelievable. They locked the dining room for closing down while we were there. Instead of rushing us out though they actually were very accommodating and told us to take our time and not to rush. A few of them even took the time to entertain my 2 year old daughter who is normally shy but loved interacting with them. Thank you to the crew who worked at this Taco Bell tonight. May 2nd, 2023!

This is the slowest drive through I have ever sat through. Tacos are one of the easiest and fastest things to make I don’t understand why it takes 25 minutes to make a soft taco and an order of nachos. Window staff were rude… the cheese sauce was forgotten and when I asked for it they rolled their eyes and when I opened the cheese it looked like they had added water to it. It poured out of the cup like water. Terrible terrible service. Definitely NOT FAST FOOD! Waste of time and money!

I LOVE TACO BELL. The Morehead City store gives this franchise a bad name. This has to be the worst Taco Bell ever. When you can catch them open (hours vary from day to day, sometimes they do breakfast, sometimes they don’t. Sometimes they are open until 11pm as it says on google, sometimes they close as early as 7pm.) they make the food wrong (We once got several of the chicken chipotle wraps and they were all made like soft tacos, one was made like an inside out taco with the chicken on the outside.). Breakfast items advertised on their windows and menu board yet they (most of the time) are not open for breakfast. You never see the same people in there working twice. The dining room is open even more variable hours. Sometimes we try to order online and it says at checkout that items we have ordered are unavailable only to find out when we get to the store that they are available. We have also ordered online only to find out when we got there the location had closed several hours before hand (still not sure if I paid for that order we never received). WE MUST BE STUPID: I am not sure why we keep trying to go there other than the fact that I love Taco Bell and I think there is no way this low standard can continue and THIS TIME things will be right finally only to be disappointed again. Have frequented the Beaufort, Havelock, and Swansboro Taco Bells and have found all of them to be excellent in food and service (and consistency of hours of operation). How can all these nearby locations get things so right when this location consistently gets things so wrong? I THINK IT’S BEYOND FIXING AT THIS POINT: This location needs a regime change or please just spare us all and close up shop and leave Morehead. Make us drive out of town… the extra drive will stink but at least we will be happy with our overall experience.

Service is terrible. Very unpersonable staff. Lacking cashiers in the evening and you have to use a kiosk to order. Lobby doesn’t open til lunch 11am. This place has taken a nose dive the last 4 to 5 years. Sad to see. I used to love this place and visited almost daily.

I love Taco Bell and so does my sister who was visiting from NJ. We had a great lunch after finishing at the doctor’s. Trust me, Taco Bell was way better than the doctor’s.

I have never had this bad of service at a Taco Bell! The bald guy which I believe is a manager is rude! They ignore you at the front because their main concern is drive thru and online orders. Good luck if you want to eat inside (even if you’re the only one there)

Was in line for 45 minutes and they got my order wrong. Pulled up to the window and three staff members are just kinda standing around talking, not helping complete orders… mind blowing.

I tried to order a Beef Burrito Supreme with the beans, onions, and red sauce on the side. They could not do it without charging for a side of beans, onions, and red sauce if there’s not a button for it, it can’t happen.

Stopped by during happy hour for drinks with my child. When I got to the payment window I asked if it was happy hour because the total came out as regular price. She adjusted it but said my large Baja freeze isn’t part of happy hour but she could make it a regular. I said ok but when I realized she was going to remake the drink for a regular size I kindly said I wanted the large and I’ll pay for it NBD. I really dislike conflict and try my best to not to complicate things. Since she already had the large at the window (which is what I wanted) I said I could pay the difference. She said she needed to ask her manager. When the manager opened the window she handed me the small Baja freeze saying “here you go love” and shut the window on me before I could even speak. From now on I’m going to avoid this Taco Bell, the one in Beaufort is much friendlier.
