I sat in a ridiculously long drive-thru line last night. While I was ordering through the drive-thru speaker, I was told they were out of multiple menu items.
After all that, I get to the window and they tell me they can’t break a $50 bill… for an $18 order. How does that make any sense when you have a massive line of cars? What made it even more irritating was the employee taking my money, saying “let me see if I can break it,” then barely looking at the register without even opening it before saying he couldn’t. Zero effort.
This location has always been terrible. The food is barely filled with meat, the quality is consistently bad, and they can’t even cut a quesadilla properly — which is literally the most basic part of the job.
If you want Taco Bell done right, go to the locations in Wharton or Hackettstown. They actually know how to make their food with care, and they really stuff your food the way it’s supposed to be.
Between the constant shortages, wasted time, and complete lack of care at this location, it honestly feels like no one here knows what they’re doing. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else.
Now listen — I went in humble. Just wanted a taco or two. Next thing I know I’m pointin’ at the menu like I’m investin’ in real estate. “Yeah I’ll take that. And that. Ooo and whatever that is with the dramatic name.”
Them tacos? Crunchier than leaves in October.
That sauce? Got more kick than a mule with attitude.
And don’t even get me started on that Baja Blast — tastes like a tropical vacation made questionable life choices.
Food came out hot, fast, and wrapped tighter than my aunt’s Christmas gifts. Staff was friendly too — didn’t judge me one bit when I added “just one more thing” three separate times.
I sat there in my truck afterward, starin’ at the steering wheel, reflectin’ on my blessings.
Five stars. Would absolutely risk mild regret again.
My most recent experience, hopefully will be the last time I buy food here. The beans were so dry and crumbly and disgusting and still in the shape of an ice cream scoop they came out of. Some of The lettuce was frozen. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry in the past, and I would be ashamed to serve this type of food. I would never serve this to anyone. As this has been going on for years, it’s not just a manager issue, but also a regional manager issue. Why do other Taco Bell’s have the ability to put out consistent food and creamy beans all day where this restaurant can only do it sporadically. This is not a tostada. Taco Bell rant over. Do better please, your quality is shameful even for Taco Bell’s. ♂️ .
And even if you go to taco bell don’t make the mistake of going to this location because they could not get one order right. I was excited to try the street style chalupa only for them to just give me dry chicken and bread. Waste of money, time and mood.
