This location is a disaster for delivery drivers and customers. I arrived at 2:00 AM to pick up an Uber Eats order, only to be told I was the 4th driver sent for the same meal. The staff claim the customer must already have their meal, as an attempt to dismiss me, yet they gave the food away to a ‘thief’ because they don’t bother to verify if people are actually assigned to the orders they’re taking.

When I asked them to remake the order so the customer could actually eat, and they could fulfill the order as they were obligated to do, the staff was dismissive and told me it was my problem and refused to do their job.

If Taco Bell’s employees fail to do their jobs, and do not verify the actual person asking for an order is the actual driver, by having them verify the number on the bag like they’re supposed to in front of them, and they give it to a thief, that is on them! Not the driver!

Their refusal to follow basic security protocols (like checking a driver’s app) creates a fraudulent loop where drivers get penalized. When we have to report an order as ‘already picked up,’ Uber flags OUR accounts as fraudulent or identifies us as thieves, threatening us with deactivation, and actually deactivating great five star drivers, because of Taco Bell’s incompetence.

After sitting in the parking lot for an hour, while Uber threatened to deactivate me for fraud and this location refused to do their job and get food to a paying customer and pay the driver, I ended up paying $20 out of my own pocket as an Uber driver to reorder the customers food, and paid myself, just so the customer wouldn’t go hungry at 2 AM, and to fix the problem that Taco Bell created!

The management here is unprofessional, lazy, and clearly has no respect for the people delivering their food. I’ve been delivering for them for almost a decade now :-).

If you’re a driver, avoid this location—they will cost you money and put your job at risk. They do not deserve any help from Five Star drivers, while they treat us less than human and put our livelihoods at Risk by failing to do the bare minimum.

I come here in the morning every few weeks. It’s not overly busy, which makes for a nice peaceful breakfast/brunch. The service is professional and friendly. The food is delicious as one would expect. Inside was pretty clean. I recommend.

*Some reviews say the restaurant is dirty. I’m not seeing it. Window guy was in today cleaning the whole place too.

Me and my boyfriend ordered from this location tonight and ended up being incredibly disappointed and disgusted. The rice in our food was completely hard, which tells me that the rice is VERY old and very poorly stored. Half of our order also wasn’t even in the bag and my boyfriend had to go back to get it, but when he got there the lobby was closed and they had everybody going through drive thru. I blame management for that because clearly they don’t have enough staff to take care of the workload that comes with a closing/night shift. But the night crew absolutely needs to get it together and make sure they completed the order before handing it off.

Taco Bell has some tasty options and the staff is pleasant, which definitely adds a nice touch to the experience. However, the restroom was dirty, which was a bit of a bummer.

I went to this location about 2 hours ago after going to the one in Seabrook and being told they were out of rice and beans. At the Portsmouth location, I ordered a bean and rice burrito, sour cream, a baja blast, and hot sauce. I also rounded up $0.95 to donate when they asked. My bad, I didn’t check the bag to make sure the workers gave me the correct order. The only thing they gave me was the burrito, and I paid for all of it. I called 20 minutes ago and said I was missing items from my order. The guy on the phone asked what I was missing. I told him and asked if I could have a refund for the missing items. He said no one there has the ability to give me a refund at this time and that I can come back and talk to the manager tomorrow or come back right now and get the missing items. Hopefully the manager is kind and rectifies the situation, because it’s extremely frustrating to not get a simple order correct and have to take time out of my day to get my money back.

I’ve been eating Taco Bell for about 20 years and I think this may be the straw that finally broke the camel’s back. This was just an abysmal showing. We ordered off of the app, which I will admit is pretty decent and allows for customization which is nice, and once I arrived the staff was quick and got my food out to me quickly (maybe this is part of the problem), but the end results were just straight up poor. The taco shells tasted stale, the vanilla orange cream slushie was not even filled up to the top of the cup at arrival. And the Crunchwrap supreme is the worst offender. They are consistently skimpy so we ordered in the app with double meat and veggies, but once we took a look under the hood there was a speck of meat in there, less than even usual. For spending an upcharge for double meat it’s just unacceptable. I don’t fault the employees and unfortunately this is an issue at a much higher level than just this location, but at this point we are expected to pay more ($15 for a combo meal is highway robbery) for quality that has been decreasing year after year. I’m just one person so I have no real impact but money talks in this world so I just don’t think I can in good conscience spend money at Taco Bell again any time soon.

Very bad experience at this location, I didn’t receive what I order for my kid’s. That was 2 order of burrito supreme and 1 chessy bean and rice burrito and what I received is 1 burrito supreme and 2 cheesy bean and rice burrito. My lost of money is $6.34 with added extra jalapeños and I had to buy some other food for my kid. My kid so upset he said why they did this to my order ??????
Keep focus on present customer order and don’t talk to other colleagues during making orders this is how you can avoid this mistake and hope you don’t ruin someone’s dinner.

Edit: 9/29/2023: This location has improved some with time so stars increased from 1 to 3 – though they annoyingly leave all exterior lights off at night (including the drive thru menu). If it was only once I’d assume it was an accident but it’s very consistent. And word of mouth opinion is that it’s a way of discouraging customers from thinking they’re open.

~~~~~~~
Terrible.
If I could give it zero stars I would. The staff here clearly don’t feel like they’re accountable. Their customer service skills are dismissive and rude. The food served straight from the drive-thru is already cold. I ordered a few cravings boxes and they spread the orders randomly through the boxes and just shrugged and handed me an empty box and told me I can sort it myself. I ordered a crunchwrap Supreme, add jalapeños, and was unable to eat more than three bites before I peeled it open and found it was completely full of jalapeños. I counted and there were 46 slices, and I’d already eaten 3 bites completely full of them. I’m angry and disappointed. This place went downhill fast.**
**Note: this order was placed online so there was no personal interaction between them and myself prior to them making the food. I did nothing to justify them intentionally ruining my food.
