Discovered this hidden gem while in the Herndon area on business.
What a great find! The smell of delicious food as soon as you walk in is fantastic. The restaurant has wonderful décor and theming. The staff was amazing, and the young lady at the counter kindly answered all my question. I just wish I remembered her name.
I went at 2:00 p.m. for a late lunch, and let me tell you, the place was packed! You can tell the locals love this spot.
I ordered two tacos: birria and carnitas. The birria was really good, and wow, do they load those tacos….there was a ton of meat on them. The carnitas taco was phenomenal. It also had plenty of meat, and the flavor was fantastic. Ten out of ten.
There was a guy handing out samples of a new seasonal offering, chili con queso. It was delicious and absolutely perfect for a cold, windy day. I regret not ordering a bowl to take back to the hotel.It was THAT good.
Congratulations, Taco Bamba, you’re now on my favorites list in the area!
I’m flying to Nashville in a month and will definitely try their location there.

I ordered Taco Bamba through Uber Eats and overall had a really solid experience! The food arrived fresh, well-packed, and still warm. The nachos were flavorful — especially the proteins — and the salsas had a great kick without being overpowering. Portion sizes were good for the price, and everything tasted thoughtfully prepared.

I had this delicious frozen guava margarita from the bartender Nicole who has an awesome vibe made the whole experience even better! I highly recommend the drinks she makes and the food for sure!

YUMMY FOOD! We had early lunch and it was already past 730-8PM and I wanted Mexican. This is one of the first restaurants I went to in this city – the food was good is all I can remember. But it’s close to our place so we decided to pick up food. Were vegetarians – ordered tradicional Quesadilla & mellow mucho quesadilla – it was only a $20 total. So we didn’t know if it was going to be sufficient – YES it was the right amount of food. We INHALED it! Finger licking good!
Definitely visit and the vibe of the place if you wanted to dine is chill too! Definitely going back & recommend.

My family and I always have an amazing experience at any Taco Bamba! The vibe is always warm, relaxed, and welcoming. The atmosphere makes it a perfect place to enjoy great food with friends and family. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. A special shoutout to Ken at the Herndon location, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Definitely a place I’d recommend for great food and a great overall experience. And, yes, you can watch the game there too!

Inventive menu, that was delicious. There wasn’t much mentioned about the cocktails, but they were amazing. The spicy one was fantastic. I was very impressed by this place. Highly recommend on a layover in the area.

Food took a while to come out and server didn’t adjust the order when I told him no cilantro on all the items like 5 times…it took a while to get it fixed. They also never told us to wait for the food on the other side when we were waiting on the food.
Oh and a rude patron in the restaurant staring at me rudely kills the vibe too. The Fairfax location has MUCH better vibes.

Traveling for business from El Paso, and this was a nice taste of home. So many different combinations of ingredients for their tacos and it’s all great. My only regret is I couldn’t go more often. They’ve got a couple of vegan/vegetarian tacos, and they’re just as good as the meat ones. Definitely check them out if you’re in the area.
