We came in because I had seen the sign about fresh peach Shakes. They were so good that we are coming back before they stop serving fresh peach Shakes!

Taco Amigo is my go to in Pleasant Grove, UT! It is a local gem that has stood the test of time. Known for its great burgers, perfectly crispy fries, and fresh, thick, delicious shakes, it’s a go-to spot for classic comfort food. The service is always fast and friendly, and the restaurant maintains a consistently clean and welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re a long-time fan or visiting for the first time, Taco Amigo delivers every time.

$13 for a meal. That was even the worse. I pull up and see a long line so I figured it must be good since I’ve never been. Someone comes out to take my order but they don’t have any menus. I asked her how on earth am I supposed to order or know what I want if you have no menus??? I can grab one for you acting like it my fault I don’t know what I want. It you guy are trying to act like Chick-fil-A or In and Out then have menus on the people taking orders. Two cheese burgers a small fry and small drink for $13 is crazy! The food was just mid. Worth maybe $8 for that quality and bad service.

I will forever be a proponent and champion for Taco Amigo.

Great local restaurant. Over the years I’ve always had friendly and kind customer service. Their menu items are delicious, from their Baja melts to their cheeseburgers and glaciers. Their seasonal shakes are also delicious. I came here a ton when in high school and attempt to return as frequently as I can when visiting Utah. Go and support local business here, but also go to enjoy a delightful restaurant experience!

Finally decided to try this local favorite because we have driven by this place a million times and they are always packed. I dont understand why? The food was not great. The employees were nice and the restaurant was very clean but the food was highly disappointing.

The long line is worth the wait! The strawberry cheesecake, Oreo, and cookie dough shakes are to die for! They are think like ice cream but so tasty! Definitely recommend!

Always served warmly at this location. Although the service can sometimes be slow, the food variety and cost makes up for it. They have great burgers and delicious burritos! No where serves such a good variety as taco amigo.
Although not everyone likes the flavors, coming with a large family is perfect because everyone can be pleased regardless of picky natures.

I went with my coworker because our other coworker was raving about this place. Best taco place in Utah county we were told. It was aggressively mediocre. Reminded me of an arctic circle or something. I got some nachos that could have come from a concession stand and my coworker got what appeared to be a frozen microwavable enchilada from Walmart. The staff was friendly and the food didn’t make me want to throw up – just not very good. I’m assuming the shakes must be good – otherwise I can’t understand the recommendation.

If they have the peach shake, get it. You will not be disappointed.
The tacos and burgers are good too. This location was recently remodeled and it looks good with more seating. Parking can be a challenge to find around lunchtime.

This is definitely a Pleasant Grove spot when you’re in Pleasant Grove, a MUST stop! I love their (seasonal) fruit shakes here such as raspberry, peach, and strawberry shakes.

What I really come here for are two things (besides the shakes): their fries and their bandido – a sort of Mexican pizza that takes me back to my nostalgic Taco Bell Mexican pizza (which no longer exists – QUE the tears!).

And one of the familia recently commented that their fries taste JUST LIKE good o’l McDs fries, which I’m a HUGE fan of. Tried their fries recently….CONFIRMED. They taste just like McDs fries….and you get more of a serving of their fries here too….more bang for your buck!

The ambiance and environment are always inviting, pleasing, and close to home.
