Great spot, reasonable pricing. Half the girls were Very nice and accommodating and the other two looked upset that people were even showing up, even felt a bit awkward ordering my second to go order with the other girl. Food was great, so good that i even took some to go. Given that there’s not much else around this area, it definitely makes it a great stop.

First time to eat here and we will definitely be back! Service was fast and good… girls were very friendly. I had the Club Sandwich and it was very tasty. My husband had a burger and he said it was very good. Recommend you give it a try!

Huge variety of flavorful burgers, sandwiches, sides, and desserts! Staff is very attentive, helpful, and very welcoming. Family oriented – a perfect spot to bring the kiddos, & don’t leave w/o trying one of the many choices of shakes & shivers! So glad to have a place like Tacker’s in Manila!

Was just served one of the worst meals I have ever paid $60 for. Ordered 3 chicken strip baskets and 1 three legged chicken sandwich. They took our order for for the slaw, side salads, and dipping sauces. When the food came out no side salad or slaw with any meal. The chicken strips were burnt to the point where the breading was rock hard and the chicken inside was bone dry. I tried one bite before informing the server that our chicken was burnt to which she responded “oh it’s burnt” and just went on about her business. The fries were literally the only edible part of the meal. Never again, if you want good chicken strips in Manila you better order them from the gas station on main street at least they know how to use a timer. Do better this was terrible

Tackers Shake Shack was founded by John Tacker and his wife Loretta in 1977 and has been a Marion Arkansas staple ever since. It’s now at it’s second location in Manila Arkansas and just as popular the food is great the staff is friendly and it doesnt cost a fortune, they get your food out quick and it’s consistently awsome! The food ranges from burgers and fries to sundays and homemade pie. Tackers is a specialty burger joint and a must if your in the Marion or Manila area. I’m giving tackers Shake Shack five stars it is one of the best burger joints out there, it’s been around almost 50 years so you know they’re doing something right! So check it out and grab a Muscadine Monte Cristo, a John Wayne burger, smoked chicken Philly cheese steak, Waverley burger( personal favorite) or get a sunday, shakes, some homade pie ,or a malt, there are many more great items on Tackers menu. Broke my own rule to “never move forward for ONE item” in the drive-through lane – and then they promptly forgot my onion rings [only]. It took just under 15 minutes for delivery! When the kind, young server Allie B admitted she totally forgot my order, I didn’t realize she also meant “forgot to take it out of the hot oil!
The algorithm for this unfortunate scenario is pretty straightforward: apologize to the customer, admit your error, offer food, coupon, and/or refund. (But under NO circumstances deliver ANY burned food to the customer as it imparts a bitter taste and a bitter memory. If in doubt, it never leaves the kitchen!)
They make some mighty fine shakes here.

This place is not what it is built up to be. Frozen patties. Daughter had a long hair on her burger and when they brought it back, it looked to be the same just warmed and dried up. Onion rings on top had the same shape and everything. I don’t think I was just imagining it. Worked food service my whole life. We asked for the hand cut fries(whole family) but my fish meal that was not true catfish came with the regular crinkle cuts. I politely asked if I could change the hand cut bc I want what I asked for and he said he would have to charge me for a whole order of fries! Why when that’s not what I asked for?! I said never mind and haven’t been back. I was so excited to try this place because we recently moved to Marion. Eat with caution!!

I’ve been coming here for a while, but unfortunately things have really gone downhill over the last month. The food, which used to be consistently good, has become disappointing—bland, poorly prepared, and clearly not made with the same care as before.
What’s even more frustrating is the management. There seems to be a team running things, and instead of listening to feedback or trying to improve the situation, they act like they know everything. It’s hard to support a place where concerns are brushed off or met with attitude (some girl).
Really disappointed to see what used to be a great spot lose its quality and welcoming atmosphere.
