This was an amazing experience. It’s a great restaurant for date night, girls night, or a birthday celebration.
Daniella was so welcoming and kind to us. She recommended amazing tasty drinks, the corn, guac and crab tostada were good appetizers. The talum rice as a main dish with shrimp, the abuela’s rice as a side, the shrimp/steak tacos and fish tacos were delicious . The food all around was top notch. I’ve tried many churros but these churros for dessert were 10 out of 10. The texture, the bite, the softness and the strawberry jam to dip them in was delightful. And the tres leche was not too sweet but just right with all the different milks, I could have had the entire one myself if I didn’t have to share with my friends lol. It was a great birthday celebration dinner.

Tabu did not disappoint! Our server Isabella was phenomenal. The customer service was amazing — everyone was so welcoming and attentive from the moment we walked in. The aesthetic and decor instantly gave Tulum vibes: warm, tropical, chic, and the perfect spot if you love a restaurant that feels like an escape.
The food was rich, flavorful, and tasted so authentic. Definitely great portion sizes and options for the price. The drinks were strong (in the best way!) and every cocktail we tried was delicious. We will be back.

I had such a great experience at Tabú in Brooklyn. Everything from start to finish was amazing. The service was attentive and welcoming, the food was absolutely delicious, and the ambiance made the whole experience even better. The atmosphere is vibrant yet comfortable, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a great meal.
They also have a huge tequila selection, which was really impressive. The servers were incredibly knowledgeable about it and helped guide us through different options, which made the experience even more fun and unique.
You can really tell they care about the quality of both their food and their guests’ experience. I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to eat in Brooklyn.

Hi so I’ve been here twice and each time the service was excellent. The first time was for a birthday dinner with a group of 7 and they were accommodating and very attentive. You can also taste the food is very authentic you feel like you’re really eating food from somebodies auntie that everyone talk about. The second time I was there my server Isabelle was very nice and helped me narrow done some choices which was very helpful. When I came for the birthday dinner the birthday girl decided based on atmosphere alone and the exceeded expectations. The bartender is great as well, they have a very well stocked bar and the bartender is very experienced. Highly recommend will be back soon.

Great eatery in Brooklyn, the decor will definitely transport you to Mexico. The bar has a full selection of tequila. There’s a beautiful outdoor area.

Excellent place to have dinner . We came for my mother in laws birthday, about 13 people in our group the staff was very accommodating and the food was great . We also booked a mariachi band to play inside the restaurant which went very well with the help of the manager Zamira!!

Really poor service. I got there before the other member of my party so I ordered tea while I waited. I had to remind them twice before I got it. For food we ordered two mains and chips and guac. We also ordered a spicy margarita and wine. They told us they didn’t have guac for the appetizer so we had to order a different appetizer. We ended up getting our mains then the appetizer 10 minutes later. We then got our drinks a couple minutes after that. And the margarita wasn’t even spicy. We had to send it back (more than once) and they insisted on charging us for it. They also tried to charge us for the guac even though we couldn’t get it. And they automatically added tip which they probably did because they knew the service was so bad we wouldn’t tip. And they added 20%?! And the food we did get wasn’t even good. One of the worst dining experiences in the city. Maybe they should pay for another waiter instead of those dancers? Or just convert the restaurant into a club and stop offering food?

Amazing experience. This restaurant has a Tulum vibe to it. Our waiter Anthony was so kind and informative. The managerial staff were very nice and welcoming. The food is so creative. Every meal we had was curated with art and taste in mind. Staff said they will have a brunch menu soon with a live DJ. I will definitely be back with a larger party. ❤️ thank you so much.
